Folks,
During the debate, I had several 'scream at the TV' moments - one though, I thought was worth posting. Ifil asked Biden about Intervention. The previous and subsequent contexts revolved around Iraq. When she asked him that - he said "Americans have a stomach for success."
Here's the transcript:
IFILL: Senator, you have quite a record, this is the next question here, of being an interventionist. You argued for intervention in Bosnia and Kosovo, initially in Iraq and Pakistan and now in Darfur, putting U.S. troops on the ground. Boots on the ground. Is this something the American public has the stomach for?
BIDEN: I think the American public has the stomach for success.
I was hoping Sarah would have used his words against him then, and will do so moving forward - THAT'S EXACTLY WHY WE MUST AND WANT TO WIN IN IRAQ!! NOT TO WITHDRAW UNTIL VICTORY!!!
Anyway - IMHO - we should have them choke on their words often and hard.
Americans do...Deathocrat ninnies don’t.
But I don’t have the stomach for an alcoholic like you, Joe, to be in office.
But I guess I’d be chugging them down, too, Joe, if I had to stump for Obama.
Did he just call me fat?
