I'm not. If anyone is going to try to make Palin "polarizing" it will be the MSM and the kooks on the left, who think that she's simply a better looking Jesse Helms. Honestly, the attempt will be futile should Hussein lose this time around.
I am not certain why people are preferring Obama for economics (at least according to the polls).
He has no particular track record or policy platform to commend him.
Neither does McCain, except for his documented history of opposing most pork barrel and earmark treats.
So I do not understand why Obama is “the best” on this issue.
“We can definitely win.”
True, especially if McCain wins the next two debates. But this is becoming a media talking point and I wanted Freepers to shoot it down. And they’re not doing badly.
Hey neighbor.....I live in the city/work in Clayton.
I am basing this on discussions with conservative Republican businessmen that I deal with who wonder why McCain/Palin is bringing up Ayers during an economic crisis.
As you said, time will tell. Let’s just make sure Missouri goes to Sarah Palin and her running mate!!
This steaming pile needs to be saved so we can rub Wolfson’s nose in it the day after the election.
First, he waited too long to highlight Hussein's judgment (Ayers, Wright, Reszco, etc). Heck, we still can't (according to McCain) even call him Hussein.
Second, the disastrous markets and financial calamities at this point OVERRIDES EVERYTHING. Sad, but true.
5 points for the Bradley effect plus 8 points for dim weighting in the polls equals about even.
Enter the Palin effect and it won’t be close.
The MSM trashing of the Gov stirred up not just the GOP base but the REAL AMERICANS all over the country.
I figure 10 points and 40 states.
You can walk and chew gum at the same time. You can do both. They are complementary. ACORN/Fannie/Freddie/J Johnson are about both policy and associations. So is the Ayers/Rezco/al-Mansoiur connections. It is the perfect storm of incompetence and corruption.
Well its a month before the presidential election and you know what that means!! A non stop barage of MSM articles about how its all over for the republicans so we might as well give up and not even go vote.
I keep saying that all the polls are based on 14% more dem turnout than rep, and never in the history of the US has there been more than 4% more dem turnout than rep.
Forgive me if you see this comment of mine on other threads, but I feel compelled to repeat it until everybody hears it. I am stunned that all of the pollsters are apparently doing the same thing.
Take the 10% differential away and we have a landslide here.
Anybody feel free to tell me how I’m wrong. I generally believe polls. But there is not going to be 14% more dems voting than repubs this year.
None of this makes any sense. In any other year, Obama would be in the dust. The MSM is complicit in Obama’s lead as is the economy going in the tank. As to the economy, how much of this is REAL, and how much is simply PANIC brought on by Paulson - who we now know is really an Obama sycophant. This reminds me a lot of Ohio in 2006. And that didn’t turn out well. Very unpopular inept GOP Gov. GOP swept out of almost every Executive office. W is turning into a real dud and an 800 ton anchor on the McCain campaign. I just hope this change in message generates traction and base enthusiasm stays high.
So much more then Ayers out there to see.
Zero’s cousin Odingo and his ethnic cleansing of those that didn’t vote for him.

I wouldn’t say that Obama is winning right now. I don’t believe the polls. They’re as biased as the MSM.
Your confidence is inspiring, and written like a Texan!

You’ll recall the MSM pronounced Hillary DEAD before NH. How’d that turn out? Then they kept saying she’s TOAST. But she kept winning and but for a flawed Caucus strategy, she’d have been the nominee and we’d be down by 15-20 points.
This is the opposite of “Don’t throw me in that briar patch.” If they are fighting it this bad, there must be something of value in it.
