In another piece of bad news for the McCain campaign, Sen. Barack Obama has taken a solid lead in four large battleground states, a new set of polls indicates.

Sen. Obama has double-digit leads in Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He leads by a slightly smaller margin in Colorado, according to new Quinnipiac University polls conducted in conjunction with The Wall Street Journal and Washingtonpost.com. His prospects have improved in the wake of two debates with Sen. John McCain, and are enhanced by the fact that the electorate that views him as better prepared to deal with the economy.

Sen. Obama leads 54% to 37% in Wisconsin, his widest lead of the four states. In Michigan, he has a similar 16-point lead, 54% to 38%. In Minnesota, Sen. McCain trails by 11 points, 51% to 40%. In Colorado, Sen. Obama's biggest pick-up opportunity in the West, the Democrat leads 52% to 43%.

And reach across the aisle, Democrat and Republican, working together to get things done. That’s what the American people want.

if Mccain does not throw everything , including the kitchen sink at obama on Wednesday he deserves to lose.

Ayers should be secondary to Odinga.

McCain really, really, really needs to lay out a visionary plan tonight in the debate.

If he does the same old crap he has done before.....earmarks, not rebutting Obama lies about his plan etc....he might as well lose.

And he probably will if he doesn’t do those simple things. Very simple things.

For some reason, for being a war hero, he doesn’t have much guts. He is a wimp.

Just really crazy that people view Obama as better able to deal with the economy. Based on nothing.

Except maybe Obama’s plan to punish plumbers for daring to make more than non workers.

Out of these states, I thought only Colorado is a battle ground.

McCain cannot win this election. Only Jeremiah Wright can.

Actually he has done a good job of laying out his plans.

McCain hasn’t. Thus, people trust Obama more.

I called the McCain Campaign and requested a refund of my donation for refusal to mention Rev. Wright.

I encourage all Freepers who donated to the McLame campaign to do the same.

four years, eh?

You don’t think that the left will institutionalize policies that will negatively affect your life and freedom permanently?

“McCain needs to take the damn gloves off, name names, talk about Wright, name names already!!!”

AMEN to that! He needs to go on the offensive and stop his bipartisanship obsession and “reaching across the aisle” garbage!

He should bring up Obama’s birth certificate, his association with Wright, Ayers, and others.

Come on, McCain! Stand up and fight!

I'm not buyin' the push polls, which are heavily weighted in their sampling to the dems...and neither should anyone else. They are simply an attempt for the most part, IMHO, to supress the GOP vote.

On the ground, the crowds that Sarah is drawing now (30,000 in FL, 24,000 coming in Indiana, etc.), tell the real stroy...and the DNC, MSM, and Obama's campaign know it.

SARAH PALIN DRAWING HUGE CROWDS ALL ACROSS AMERICA

...and then there is this:

Note we all have been duped into believing only the economy matters now. Won’t it be grand when our national security is trashed.

Face it we can thank George Bush for discovering an economic crisis less than two months before the election. Can you imagine an act of greater stupidity and political self destruction?
