a perfect represenation of the democrat party; haughty, arrogant, presumptuous, disgusting, overbearing and just plain stupid, ignorant and elitist. (adolescent, mendacious, acquisitve brats who camouflage their effrontery with with business suits and the accessories of adults.)

IMHO

“Lobbying and palace intrigue became the primary means to special favors”

I’ve often thought that Washington had certain similarities to the Old Regime.

Instead of the next FDR, I fear that Oh Bummer is “a Chamberlain for our times.”

Perhaps more like “a chamberpot for our times.”

I know. But since Barack Hussein Obama is being compared to Louis XIV, I figured I could compare him to Louis XV.

Louis XIV did say, “I am the state”. Now this mentality and MSM adulation DOES apply to BHO.

"Instead of the next FDR, I fear that Oh Bummer is “a Chamberlain for our times.”

Or the worst of both worlds, a Chamberlain pushover in foreign affairs and an FDR Depression enabler and anti-constitutionalist in domestic affairs.

I don't read the Sentinel that often as I am not in their circulating area. I can say that the Sentinel does put a more Conservative spin on local stories when I have read it.

So I would give him a pass for now.

This is a great analysis.

It seems as if socialism is simply a rebrand of mercantilism.
