Obamas headed for Chicago next weekend (needs a break already)

President Barack Obama is planning two getaways to Illinois next week -- with a scheduled stop in Chicago with the rest of the First Family.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the Obama family will return to Chicago for the President's Day weekend.

Obama already was planning a one-day trip next week to Springfield to attend a banquet for Abraham Lincoln's birthday.

Driving home yesterday evening heard someone on the radio say that Obama was all about winning the election and had not thought about what it takes to actually govern (something he has never had to do). My thought was ‘he is the dog who finally caught the car and now does not know what to do with it.’
