Sean Penn in talks for 'Fair Game' (Plame/Wilson Biopic)

"Fair Game," the drama about the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson, has come together with Naomi Watts starring, "Mrs. and Mrs. Smith" helmer Doug Liman directing and William Pohlad's River Road financing. But the big question is whether Oscar-winning "Milk" star Sean Penn will close a deal to play Ambassador Joseph Wilson.

Penn is negotiating, but no deal has closed.Pohlad has a strong relationship with Penn: he was a producer on the Terrence Malick-directed "Tree of Life," which stars Penn and Brad Pitt, and Pohlad also was a producer and financier for "Into the Wild," which Penn directed.

Wilson watched his wife's CIA status become compromised after he wrote op-ed columns that accused the Bush Administration of manipulating intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of Iraq.

The project, based on Plame Wilson's memoir, landed at Pohlad's River Road after Warner Bros. put the project in turnaround.

When are we going to see the bio pic about a president playing with interns and cigars in the oval office while terrorists plot our demise?

It's a good thing that that Fairness Doctrine will be in place to ensure that the film will be factual and balanced. (Oh, the Fairness Doctrine doesn't apply to Hollywood propaganda? Never mind.)

They can rig all the awards shows that they want, to push their leftist and parvert ag3ndas...But no way should Penn ever have been nominatd, much less have won the Oscar. That shit movie, necer made more than even 2 Mill on any given night in it’s entire 11 week run. Nobody but the perversion pushers liked it.

Nobody watches anymore? Why should they? It’s all rigged anyway, It’s the filth movies that . No matter what the votes are, it’s the most leftist and pervert propagandist films that “win”...*Everybody* knows it.

This is a film that absolutely nobody will go to see. The whole Plame Game became irrelevant the day after the election. Adding World-Class Jerk Sean Penn to the cast will only seal it’s fate.

Why can’t Mr. There-Are-No-WMDs-In-Iraq make a movie about the on-going transfer of 550 tons of yellowcake uranium from Iraq to Canada?

Terrific list! How about Eliot Spitzer and his call girlfriend? They could also do something with John Edwards and his love child, for every pink ticket sold they donate $1.00 to Breast Cancer Awareness.

What? Hollywood hasn’t lost enough money yet, pushing America-hating left wing screed disguised as movie scripts?

Hollywood is just a druggie, homo, socialist entity. Its product is just garbage. I don’t watch either primetime TV, HBO, or movies. Nothing. I refuse to transfer funds to the cesspool.

Conservatives made an economic impact on the leftist newspaper industry. It took awhile for righties to wise up, but now that noxious industry is paying the price. Intelligent people will miss Hollywood less than they did the NY Times.

Only lamebrains will continue to patronize Hollywood’s outfall.

Covert agents don't have their spouses write political attack letters to the New York Times about their allegedly covert work.

James Bond wouldn't even have a spouse.

Plame and Wilson are both liars and they both willingly participated in an attempted “coup d’etat.” I don’t know if Wilson was ever put under oath, but Val was when she lied in front of a Senate committee. No Repub challenged her, not even my beloved Tom Coburn. Disgusting. So, Barney and Harry, anytime you want to go after liars, please inlcude Valerie.
