I work with a SF Lib that's obsessed with the Palestinians. Any political argument always ends up at the Palestinian doorstep. We had a "discussion" the other day that invariably ended up with the Palestinians. I reminded him that he lives on what used to be Paiute Indian land until whitey took it--was he going to give it back? Funny, but I seriously thought his head was going to explode.

Yes, it's that Frank Schaeffer. Apparently he went somewhat off his rocker after failing to become a successful film director. He directed four films in the late 80s/early 90s, all of which were flops and earned ratings below 5.0 on IMDB (their rating system is very generous, so a film has to be abysmal to fall that low, and all four of his films did).

In our decadent society, the easiest way for a conservative sub-mediocrity to earn praise and adulation from the “beautiful people” is to turn liberal, especially on social issues. So never let it be said that Franky doesn't follow the path of least resistance.
