I deeply resent Dick Armey trying to co-opt the tea-party movement and make it his own. He is not our leader. Our own JimRob has done way more to drive attendance at the DC march, but you don't see him putting himself, or even FR, front and center.

The parade has started, and Armey is running like hell to get in front of it to lead it.

Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey is organizing a march on Washington against the Obama administration’s healthcare plan that he hopes will finally finish off the Democratic push for socialized medicine.

Never going to happen. Too much power to be had...if we as a nation want to dampen any future endeavors toward socialized medicine then two things need to happen (and are what I think this movement should focus on when this thing hopefully gets killed):

1.Rip the IRS/Income tax code out by the roots: Congresscritters get their power from the tax code...they can forever vote buy with our money and vote themselves more of our money...we need to take control of the purse strings away from Congress. They can make up a budget based on revenue received from a neutral tax system which ALL participate in.

2.Term limits! No one should be spending a life time in Washington...working for the people is not a career choice but rather a privilege.

Then Maureen Dowd and the other boomers in the press can pretend it's eternally 1968 and they're standing with the young against the Establishment.

IN TRUTH, the DEMS are The Establishment - and they're rich and corrupt and they hire people to prop up an image that's a lie. Prop up a lie - while stealing the voices of real citizens.
