Maybe at the next UN meeting, he can have all the delegates dress like they did in the original Batman movie from the 60’s....

This news report lies, because at least one of the doctors at the event strongly opposed Obamacare — he snuck into the event but didn’t get a chance to speak.

Anyway, so how does the news journalist know they were “enthusiastic supporters”? The reporter never talked to the doctors, after all. They simply accepted the White House word for it.

Why are most of these doctors Black? Something is fishy.

That's racist, < /sarc> but I am asking the same question.

So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area...

Did those white coats come with restraining ties on the sleeves???

That was ridiculous! I work in a lab and we are not allowed to wear our lab coats outside the lab so as to not contaminate others. Lab coats are worn to protect your clothing from getting contaminants on your street clothes. I hope Zero got a bad bug from a contaminated lab coat!

Of course, children under 18 years of age, who suffer from the Epidemic of Obesity©, will be forbidden from the purchase of frozen desserts. In addition, a 60-day waiting period will be established and enforced by regulations to be promulgated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration, under which all Americans having attained the age of Frozen Dessert Consent (including nationalized foreign citizens otherwise excluded from the foregoing Obesity Guidelines due to their special status as Calorically-Challenged under the Junk Food Control and Nutritional Health Improvement Act of 2011) will be required to submit to blood testing and physical examination at the nearest Federal Health facility, where a determination will be made as to the levels of serum glucose and cholesterol as well as conformity with Federal height-and-weight standardization regulations otherwise promulgated under the American Bodily Image Enhancement Act of 2010, the successful completion of which will result in the issuance by the Surgeon General of the United States a License to Consume Frozen Dessert Products, which will confer upon the recipient the right to purchase quantities of the aforementioned dessert treats in conformity with Federal regulations limiting the purchase of such comestibles by day, week and month; subject to the authority of the Office of Treat Enforcement to withdraw such license in advance of its regular expiration date, should the bearer be found to have violated its terms and conditions, or in the event that a regular physical exam, as required under the Omnibus Health Reconciliation and Consolidation Act of 2009, be shown to result in year-to-year increase in weight of an amount in excess of the greater of (a) 1.5% of total body mass in existence as of the date of the last such regularly scheduled exam, or, in the case of an unchanged prior exam, 2.0% of total body mass; or (b) the sum of the variance of preferred height-to-weight ratio from prior measurement; in which case, the aforementioned License shall be revoked for a period not less than one year, after which the licensee may reapply for a License to Consume Frozen Dessert Products by written application to the Office of Treat Enforcement by Form OTE 665.76(b)(Rev. 10/11), submission to re-examination by a Qualified Local Health Board, and a payment of not less than $75.00 as a processing fee. Penalties for violation of any of the forgoing rules and regulations may be established as desired by Congress under the authorizing statutes and may result in punishment up to and including the lifetime revocation of all dessert privileges in the case of multiple offenses, including the unauthorized use of foreign travel to obtain dessert services otherwise unavailable under law in the United States.

You win the Big Block o' TextTM award!,

It was purely intentional of course, as a tribute to the wonders of Federal law.

I wonder how many of them received their health care training in Cuba?

Maybe they were real, but it reminds me I have observed some of the people who most stringently insist on being called “Dr.” are pompous PhDs, to the point of their obits starting with “Dr. John Smith”.

Wonder how much they would like being called up for medical assistance on a flight?

‘Doctors for America’ launches

This may not wind up being decisive in the health care fight, but the organizing gap between the two sides continues to widen.

Sen. Max Baucus and the Center for American Progress Action Fund are announcing a new group on a conference call later this morning: Doctors for America, which is a reincarnation of Doctors for Obama, an arm of the Obama campaign that boasted more than 10,000 members.

The question of patients’ relationships with their doctors is always a flashpoint in debating changes to the health care system, so doctors are often particularly credible messengers.

Today they’ll “release new reports detailing the depth and breadth of America’s health care crisis and announce a new effort to amplify physicians’ voices in support of health care reform,” according to the advisory.

Wonder if any of those people were really doctors. And doctors of what? Just because they have Doctor in front of there name, doesn’t make them a medical doctor. Maybe they all are, but, it would be interesting to find out.

Was Dr. Marc Lamont Hill in the group. How about that racist Dr. Gates from Harvard?

I'm sure Dr. J was in the group. He's black.

I don’t know. I didn’t get a good enough look at any of them to see if any looked familiar.

Maybe it was the guy who left the cast of House to go work at the White House. Kal Penn is the new associate director of the Office of Public Liaison.

Is THAT why? And to think I cried when he shot himself...
