U.S. Sen. Scott Brown, whose stunning victory in January was fueled in part by Tea Party anger, has snubbed the fiery grassroots group and declined its invitation to join Sarah Palin Wednesday at a massive rally on Boston Common, the Herald has learned.
Browns decision to skip the first big rally in Boston by the group whose members are credited with helping him win election has some experts saying hes tossed the Tea Party overboard, as he prepares for re-election in 2012.

I’m not a pub. I’m a conservative
The swimmer is dead. But the RINOs like Romney who colluded with him on RomneyCare, like Scott Brown, are alive and kicking and being praised by idiots in the GOP
Yeah, we got stuck with another worthless RINO to waterdown the GOP even further and ObamaCare still passed. Oh well, if Arlen rejoins the GOP I look forward to you and Cornyn singing his praises again.
If Brown skipped the event its because he has to walk a fine line till '12 and not alienate the Mass. Independents.
Which totally ignores the point of you wanting that seat to remain permanently pure for the most radical left of the democrat party, how does giving that seat back to the democrats help us?
Brown winning that permanently Democrat seat was a fluke and a lucky break, either he stays in it or it reverts back to it’s normal state, radically leftist state.
Nothing matters but his voting record and he’s no Specter. You Falconers are criminally birdbrained.
Ronald Reagan won Massachusetts. Tell the GOP to grow some balls and act like men.
Scott Brown for President!!! Arlen Specter with good hair.
You malcontent, know-nothings are too dumb to vote.
Again irrelevant to that Senate seat, the GOP did pull off a miracle in regards to that seat and you want to give it back.
I didn’t say give it back. Just get rid of the RINOs. There’s a difference, except in RINO apologist circles.
whatever it takes to get re-elected... and then go Jeffords?
This Republican took the Ted Kennedy seat because of a perfect storm of events, an overconfident opponent, timing and his being just the right guy to capitalize on it, it was a fluke, a freak of nature, and you want him to lose the seat to the Democrats in 2012 and return their seat that they will never risk losing again.
Remember you can't spell Falcon without C-O-N.
Life ain’t the same without a Kennedy in the Senate.
No, Wait. That’s a good thing , huh? ;-)
That someone not openly democRat won in Mss. is a major step forward.
It shows that folks can come out of their bunkers again after the Kennedy barrage dies down.. and do something beside acquiesce.
I could care less about “kennedy’s seat”. I only care that conservatives win elections. I don’t support the Arlen Brown’s and Scott Chafees of the world.
You get lightheaded when you hear Scotty RINO speak, by chance? Has there ever been a RINO you haven’t defended?
That sounds like a child’s whine, not political analysis.
I want too, I want the world to be perfect and all elected office holders in America be conservatives, if I try real hard I could probably try wishing like we did as young children and hope that our wishes come true, it is so much easier than all this complicated, real world politics stuff.
I let your ilk argue for supporting idiots like Chafee, Specter, Jeffords, Snowe, McCain, Brown, Crist, Kirk, Goober, etc, etc.
I’m not supporting any of them except Brown in that Senate seat, so that tact doesn’t wash, it wasn’t even a mature attempt.
I don’t want that permanently democrat seat to revert back to them in 2012, you do, that is not rational.
