How about dropping the Ron Paul crap on freerepublic?
Why not ping ChrisInAR ?
Palin's endorsement was made in February 2010.
Yes.
Pro traditional one man/one woman marriage?
Yes.
Pro prayer in schools?
More than that, Rand Paul wants to abolish the Federal Department of Education altogether.
Against pornography?
Rand Paul favors leaving the regulation of such matters up to the individual States, as per the Constitution -- and would vote for that 10th Amendment philosophy as a Senator.
and nothing since.
On Abortion: “Dr. Paul believes life begins at conception. He recognizes the most basic function of government is to protect life. It is unconscionable that government would facilitate the taking of innocent life. Dr. Paul opposes any federal funding for abortion.”

Trafitional marriage: “He also opposes marriages between gay and lesbian couples. At the same time, he voices staunch opposition to government intruding in the private lives of citizens.”

Don’t know if he’s taken postions on the other two, but this election will not be about social issues. The voters want jobs, smaller government, lower taxes, jobs, less federal spending, jobs, less government intrusion into their lives, and oh, did I mention jobs?

This video ad runs with her permission, that is what a formal endorsement is.
Are you expecting her to ask that her endorsement being advertised for her candidate, be stopped?
I think she is stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one.
In Feb ‘10 Rand sounded more Conservative Republican
on the war issues.
Since that time reverted back to his libertarian views.
Sarah Palin endorsed, and is endorsing Rand Paul for the Kentucky Senate race, period.
Trey Grayson only has the proabortion primary voters on his side.
Here is Trey Grayson speaking on Sarah Palin.
According to my understanding, the abolishment of a Federal Dept of Education is a different issue from prayer in schools, the latter being directly related to First Amendment rights.
Is Rand Paul pro prayer in schools?
I know about Grayson and he is a POS also.
She needs to support Peter Schiff. That will raise my view of her a bit
Rand Paul has not made any major changes to his policy stances on ANY issue listed on his campaign website since the Sarah Palin endorsement.
He still agrees with Ron Paul on the same issues that he did, then.
He still disagrees with Ron Paul on the same issues that he did, then, also.
Between the two:
Sarah Palin did choose to specifically endorse Rand Paul's GOP Primary campaign, and...
Sarah Palin did not choose to endorse Ron Paul's GOP Primary campaign.
She's an intelligent woman and I believe that she has chosen her endorsements on the basis of her own considered judgment, albeit allowing for her own personal loyalty to John McCain in his own primary race.
trey grayson is a social climber, not a person of principle. Only out for himself
One of those two will be a Senator.
Personally I have come to see Trey Grayson as some one that badly needs to be defeated, that Palin thing removed all doubt that Trey is in the Whitman/Romney/Clinton corner.
I think that Palin knew what she was doing in this race.
Middlesboro Daily News interview:
Rand Paul: "...The first amendment says that Congress shall establish no religion, it doesnt say that Congress shall tell the local school district whether it can have any kind of religious activity in their schools."
MDN: "So you wouldnt be opposed to prayer in public schools if the county voted on it?"
Rand Paul: "No, its a local decision."
Paul leads Grayson among pro-lifers by a 50%-32% margin. Grayson leads Paul among pro-abortion Republicans by a 42%-27% margin.
Conservatives favor Paul by 51 percent to 29 percent with 16 percent undecided. Those who attend religious services regularly or occasionally favor Paul by double-digit margins. Gun owners back Paul 48 percent to 22 percent with 22 percent undecided.
Rand Paul leads by double digits among men and women, among conservatives, pro-life voters, gun owners.
Grayson leads today only among the 1 in 5 Republican primary voters who say they are pro-choice.
For Second Amendment enthusiasts.... Here’s Rand Paul at the recent Knob Creek Machine gun shoot.

I wish the article had developed that statement further.
Dont know if hes taken postions on the other two, but this election will not be about social issues.
In my lifelong experience as a Christian, and living on the fringes of politics, I've learned that one really can't pigeonhole issues. Every election cycle has a social issues component. If we fail to acknowledge that fact, we risk losing on the non-social issues. Whatever a society believes or doesn't believe, that's the way the world works in the long run.
Great post, thanks!!
Thanks for your response.
