The Oil Spilleth Over (VANITY: Clinton, Sestak and Birnbaum - one very "busy" Thursday morning)

Fellow FReepers, please excuse the vanity but I cannot find a source that has noted the incredible admission of Obama being too busy to know of Birnbaum's resignation last Thursday to the fact that Bill Clinton was at the White House that very morning apparently to get their stories straight on the Sestak scandal.

Thursday afternoon, May 27th, when asked how he could possibly not have known about her resgination/firing, he responded that he "had a bunch of other stuff going on." (video here: http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/27/obama-um-im-not-sure-if-the-mms-director-was-fired-or-resigned/ )

Later we learned that Bill Clinton was at the White House meeting with Obama at 11:25 am that very morning.

So, here he is claiming to be 100% engaged and focused on plugging the hole, while in reality his attention and focus is really on assuring that he does not end up facing impeachment over the Sestak affair.

Has anyone seen this connection made in the media?

I haven't. But I could have missed it.

I have also wondered why so little attention was being given to this....

yeah, you’re right. I didn’t realize it would end up over in that column. It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. My apologies.

I think it’s appropriate in breaking news where it just might grab the attention of someone..... anyone..... in the media.

Props for keeping the story alive. Obama wants this to die out. We can’t let it happen.

Obama always has “stuff” happening when he doesn’t want to get involved....What a complete and total waste of genetic material.....

No apology needed. The State Run Media is well aware and couldn’t care less.

I think you are supposed to label these types of posts,
“Breaking Vanity!”

I haven’t been able to tune in to hear Rush in the past week, so he might have noted this.

But I think a powerful video could be made using Obama’s own words at that press conference, with a timeline of events that morning.

It would drive home the exact message that needs to be made...that he does not have the American public’s well-being in mind...only his own thirst for power and accomplishing his socialist agenda.

Whenever you hear that he was too busy, keep this (Freeper made) video in mind.

This is a great insight, which I missed. I think it is breaking news-worthy, although your headline does not do it justice. Consider asking the mods to retitle it “Obama unaware of Birnbaum firing at press conference because busy discussing Sestak crisis with Clinton?”

Great job connecting the dots.

thanks. Maybe someone who saw this on FR will forward it to Rush, Hannity, Beck, or someone who can bring the appropriate attention to the “dots” !
