Earlier today, droves of people descended on the nations steps of the Lincoln Memorial to participate in Fox News host Glenn Becks Restoring Honor rally, a tribute to American military families. Read More » Headlining the event, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin spoke as a mother, introducing honored military members. If you look for the virtues that have sustained our country you will find it in those who wear the uniform, said the former governor, echoing the theme of todays rally. Other speakers included, Dr. Alveda King, the niece of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

LOL!
It's amazing what they choose to leave out, of course that would only refute the bias they intended to serve up.
What’s the count? 500,000?
FOX showed a few minutes of Al Sharpton’s speech at his rally.
Pure attack politics.
“...say the ideology expressed by Beck and other speakers stand in conflict with the spirit of Dr. Kings remarks.”
Give me one example.
Yeah, and Al Sharpton show up in DC for publicity and another chance to preach hate.
seriously... droves?!
why are they wearing bandanas?
Is this picture from today? Holy smokes!
they had 500,000 in just 2 areas so I am guessing one million plus or minus a few.
This piece of chicken poop they hurried to put up is their shameful attempt at demeaning and reducing to insignificance the historic Beck event that left everyone energized and inspired to have a Christian attitude, a strong faith in God, and a love for all Americans.
Whatever size it was...it was hugely larger than the rally across town, you know, Sharpton's rally. And, Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally had no political overtones and was multi-racial, multi-cultural. Both in attendance and those selected to speak. I don't recall one white person in the audience or speaking at Sharpton's. If there was...they were certainly very few.
And Beck's rally focused on Unity, love, understanding...GOD...and Faith, Hope, and Charity. Sharpton's speakers were bitter, shouting in an angry manner, and generally hateful. One speaker even referred to Beck's rally and said "Shame on them" about the people attending. others criticized him openly. Truly loving sentiments from the Liberal Sharpton people who have no desire to have unity.
The contrast was so apparent. Prayers are surely needed to help those who protest so filled with hate and resentment so they realize they are fighting the wrong battle. Across town were hundreds of thousands who were willingly ready to embrace all races, all faiths...but those in Sharpton's crowd were just being polarized. What a shame that leaders such as Sharpton practice division. The loss is to the people who follow him and live with constant anger and hatred in their hearts. God must surely be saddened for the people who have no room in their hearts for His word, but only have room for antagonistic, resentful beliefs.
The Sharpton rally is on CSPAN now. I listened for a few minutes but couldnt take watching people make idiots of themselves.
They keep slamming Glenn but have no idea of what his rally was about.
Well, at least the...uh...individual on the right never has to buy a long-sleeved shirt again!/s;)
Appears to be quite a few “droves” to me. I examined the pic closely and it’s obvious to me that there are people among the trees that aren’t visible. I believe that 500,000 is far too small a number.
You would too if you've ever been subjected to the smell of unwashed hippie.
