Pancreatic cancer is a tough, tough one to beat. I lost my grandmother to it some years back.
Best thoughts and prayers for Ms. Franklin.
Prayers for Miss Franklin’s successful treatment.
Yikes!
Prayers offered.
Bless her, This is not good news.
That is what claimed Patrick Swayze, is it not?
Yes, I think it has a pretty high mortality rate.
What a shame
Always will remember her scenes in “The Blues Brothers.”
Ugh, not good. Sorry to hear this.
And Michael Landon.
What a dumbass! But I still laugh about it to this day.
Prayers for Aretha!
Prayers for her. I love her work. I hope she is resting comfortably.
There are some pretty good treatments out there these days. My friend’s mom was diagnosed and lived over two more years without a lot of nasty side effects from her treatment. It’s still considered incurable but it’s not necessarily as bad as it used to be. I hope that is so in Aretha’s case.
Prayers extended for Aretha Franklin, Queen of Soul, Lady Soul herself.
Prayers going out to her. I lost an aunt and a very good friend to pancreatic cancer a few years ago. Very hard if not impossible to beat it.
God be with her.
>>>Pancreatic cancer is a tough, tough one to beat.
It’s very tough to beat. Mortality rate is very high. Other pancreatic disorders are bad too. Necrotic pancreatitis nearly took me 4 years ago.
I remember growing up in the 70s, my parents would play her LPs on the old stereo floor system during the summer nights.
She’s got my R E S P E C T.........
me to. I’m no longer a fan. I hope she is a believer though.
So sad. She’s a true talent in a world full of wannabees.
Prayers for Ms. Franklin.
