After this week of relentless finger pointing over the tragedy in Tucson, one thing I have observed is that the left in America(i.e. the media, Democrat party) were the most crass and obsessed in making a buck over it.
All liberals from DU lurking may say in wonder "a buck". But that is where the big bucks lie, in other words, taxes and regulation.
But where is their "civility" and "compassion" when they defend such things as a picture of a crucifix bathed in urine in a jar or a painting of the Virgin Mary smeared with elephant dung?
They(the Democrats) have no sympathy over such atrocities, but rely with only such "big business(Democrat party word)" platitudes, such as "free speech", and of course to the media Sarah Palin's speech is not "free" but incindiary.
Also, I would like to mention the irony of Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano of saying Biblical verses at the memorial is astounding. Since each would go apopletic, IMO, about a nativity scene being displayed in a public square.
JMO it is time for the Democrat party to take a look in the mirror, and point the finger at themselves.
BTW, Janet and Eric, I hope this post is civil enough for you.
I wonder -- what would be the lifespan of an artist who created an "artist expression" of Mohammed submerged in a jar of urine? Taxes and regulation are just the tools used to enforce, subsidize, or entice compliance with a government fool's perspective.
