Someone on another thread stated that Todd is obligated to fish during the season or he can lose his rights to fish in a particular area. I’ll see if I can find the quote.
“...the Bristol Bay salmon fishing season is nearing its peak...”
I’m from the State of Washington and salmon fish are very important up in this region.
I believe Todd has fishing rights and must use them regularly. No doubt it is a part of his family’s diet and income.
That would make sense, the family has to get back to WORK, a concept foreign to Northeastern red-diaper doper trust fund babies;)
That’s right. We buy our license and have to keep it current or lose it. Besides fishing is in his blood just like every native Alaskan. I don’t care if they are Drs, lawyers or whatever. When fishing season is open, it’s the only thing that matters, it’s in the blood.
Todd has an equal partnar in the fisiging site, doubt if he is quiting it.
Beside, thought Todd had bequeathed his share in the site to their son Track.

I live there(here)... It is fishing time.. Todd does what he does..
What seems screwy to others(lower 48) seems completely logical to me..
It “IS” fishing time.. Todd has been fishing this time of year all his life.. so has Sarah..
The next two months is fishing time..
If that were true, why would you plan the tour to cover that period of time in the first place?
If they had bothered to watch her TV show, she explains the limits to fishermen on that series.link
