If this was a Republican administration, the media would be wall-to-wall coverage, demanding to know what the president knew and when did he know it.

There would be joint congressional investigative committees, special counsels up the wazoo, and so on. Instead, because the president is a Dem, there’s a collective yawn from the media.

Melson wasn't reassigned because of the scandal, it was because he went to Issa’s committee on Saturday on his own time and ratted out the administration. He saw the handwriting on the wall that he would be the scape goat.

Seems like the Catholic church got in a boatload of trouble when they tried to do the same with Priests that broke their vow. _Oh but our Federal Govt.and all its agencies Never did claim to be Holy. And since the sixties our Federal Govt. has erected a wall to keep religion from influencing their process. So all I can add is I will defend the Catholic church when I can reconcile their acts to the Bible—but the Federal Govt. only when its actions can be reconciled to the US Constitution as adoptedby the States in 1791.
