This is just getting ridiculous. If the orgamizers had bothered to ask Palin, they would have known better. Instead, they did this:
They scheduled CO to speak immediately before Sarah. They said they had squeezed her in. That means that they had to take time away from someone else and that she would be the last person on stage before Sarah. THAT was ridiculous. They could have scheduled her anytime, but to choose that particular time was the height of stupidity.
That frosted me from the get-go. I like O’Donnell alot, but when organizing these events you don’t jack around with your headliner by doing this stuff at the last minute. Palin is the draw, period. She might announce her presidency at your event.
You don’t put someone right before her that could upstage her cuz you know the media will drag out the O’Donnell-is-crazy meme, and Palin by association. They will say ANYTHING to blunt Palin’s momentum off an announcement.
You certainly don’t allow O’Donnell to be on the stage with Sarah if she does announce she’s jumping in. That’s immediate association, and Rule #1 in campaign events that you don’t violate.
There’s rumors Crow is in Perry’s camp. Not totally sure of that one yet, so I hope this was an innocent mistake.
S*** happens. The show must go on.
Well, apparently CO told them she had been texting Sarah, and was on good terms with her, and since Sarah Palin’s very public endorsement of CO is probably why she won the primary, I think they could be forgiven for not realising that the two were no longer on speaking terms.
I certainly had not read anywhere that they weren’t.
Also, since nobody in the palin camp is speaking on the record about any of this, we really don’t know what happened officially.

Why stupidity? Seems a bit like SP wants to dictate who speaks, where and when. Her act is wearing thin. She needs to put up or shut up.
