I saw the GOP debate and the Greta interview with Palin and Bachman. I am absolutely against Perry's mandate of the Gardasil vaccine. On policy grounds. Period.
But, to see the two ladies pile on with corruption charges against Perry was truly disgusting. If they have any proof that Perry mandated the vaccine to profit Merck, I am the first one who wants it. And, if proof emerges that he did so, I will be the first one to revoke my support for him.
It happens in the industry all the time. Acquaintances get you an audience. So, in this case, the fact that Perry's previous staffer was a lobbyist must have gotten the meeting. A meeting to hear about this wonderous cancer curing drug. Nothing corrupt about it. Is there more to the reason Perry made such a call? Possible/Probable. Evidence of it? None so far.
Come on. Do Palin and Bachman have to resort to gutter politics to get themselves better positioned?
I totally agree. I was against the Gardasil Exec order at the time and now, but I don't think that there was any corruption or evil intent. Perry was overruled, and he backed off, AND ADMITTED HIS MISTAKE! Bachmann, who I previously liked, took the wrong road. She's done, toast. Perry and Rubio are our nominees and next president/VP.
She specifically instructed the legislature that anything similar would be vetoed if passed.
I will say this as slowly and clearly as possible....Perry will do or say anything to be elected. If the Governorship of Texas called for pro choice views, Perry would have delivered that.
If the wind at the time had called for a gay marriage friendly guy, Perry would have delivered that.
The biggest lie Perry has told is this...he claims to have voted for Reagan, both terms, yet he worked for and supported Al Gore.
I am calling him out on this..I do not believe he voted for Reagan!
I frankly don’t see a lot of difference between Romney and Perry. Fundamentally, they’re both doing the same thing.

Who running is doing things fundamentally differently? All of the people on stage tonight have issues with their past or experience.

She did say Perry’s Chief of Staff, then later, referred to him by name, but not directly accusing him. Just saying that it suggests crony capitalism.

This auto mechanic has over 25 years experience, and I will go with that in making my decisions. Anything can kill you. Everything we do is a risk/benefit proposition. In this case I feel the benefits outweigh the risk. YMMV.

After watching the video, it appears that Señor Ricky the RINO’s supporters have their panties in a bunch. If Perry can’t defend himself, whether it concerns Gardasil, illegals or the TTC, then he does not need the nomination. We do not need a republican version of Obama — a self serving crony who gets a pass “just because.” It is much better that this information gets out now and people can decide on him based on the truth about him.
I can tell you that if Perry’s answer is that $5,000.00 is too little to buy him, “we the people” can’t afford him as president.
Maybe you’ve been on vacation on another planet for a few years. Perhaps you should read up on the hundreds of reports of serious side effects AND MANY deaths following the vaccine?

These long winded articles seem to be opinions more than facts. Regarding the vaccine, if these so called facts don’t come from the CDC, they are meaningless. The CDC is the authority for vaccines period.
A couple weeks ago there was a Freeper talking about his daughter going into grand Mal seizure after that shot.
The risks are quite real...and quite severe. My adult daughter got it knowing the risks and it made her sick, but fortunately she was OK. But that was her decision to make.
NO way in hell would I allow government to overrule me as a parent on a medical decision like that. I’d have been an ex-Texan...or ex American for that matter. And I doubt I’d be alone.
Usually, yes. But this was from tonight’s debate, so I doubt that there is one (I didn’t see any on it) so soon. I would rather read it than watch another danged video, too.
Thank God they saved us from ‘chicken fever’ a while back.
