After winning the Florida primary, GOP presidential nominee hopeful Mitt Romney explains to CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien that he is focused on a particular portion of the American population in his campaign. Romney says, "I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs a repair , I'll fix it. I'm not concerned about the very rich.... I'm concerned about the very heart of America, the 90-95 percent of Americans who right now are struggling."

Anyone got a photo?
Not according to liberals. It was a dumb thing to say
at least we only have to see his crazy-eyed son lurking behind him for another 11 months

which of the 5 is that one ???
they all have strange eyes...
and they looked decidedly Mexican...
From Granddad George...
Just think of the Cinco de Mayo parties they could throw at the WH....
Barry has alot of screen names here. He’s been busy posting for weeks now....
I never noticed his crazy eyed son, I am too busy watching or at least trying to watch Mitt’s crazy eyes. How would you like to watch the world by looking ‘through’ your own eye brows? His eye brows are worse that Ron Paul’s.
Thanks... I was worried all this ugliness was coming out of the mouths of REAL conservatives.....
The guy is a total moron. Typical republican presidential nominee. It makes me sick that for such an important election the Rombot is the best the establishment could find.

Great line silverleaf.
We've got another McCain train wreck... (as planned?)
I wonder...
Yeah, he’s our Joe Biden.
Actually he is the worst of both...
For example a heartless capitalist would never have a problem with $50 tax payer subsidized abortions...
After all that baby isn’t going to be getting a job tomorrow now, is it?
Foot in mouth disease.
Actually his idea is correct, the poor in this country are the richest poor in the world...he just delivers the message pathetically, literally serving up slow lob balls for the oppostion to knock out of the park.
We will hear the, “I’m not concerned about the poor,” quote from his own lips, a million times during the rest of the primary and elections eason should he get that far.
“We have a safety net there. If it needs a repair , I’ll fix it.”
I am sure Willard will bring all his buddies from Harvard, the LDS and crank out some spreadsheets and power points. Of course the end produce worries me.
They all do!
I don’t want to sit at that table gaaah!
In context, I’m agreeing. The welfare folks get their help with the systems in place, while middle class folks make sacrifices to pay for both their family’s upkeep and that of the poor. Add to that, many of us are taking care of family members who are down on their luck. A Middle class revival will lift everyone.
The haters on both side will find vindication of their prejudices here, though.
I'm Mitt Romney and I approved this message.
Is he TRYING to make sure he loses? The question is not rhetorical!
I was reminded of the Kennedy clan when looking at that photo.
Mitt’s sons are better looking but still....
Please oh Please not a Romney political dynasty.
Joe Kennedy want to run for President and look what we got..years of Kennedys and it’s not over. One of them announced he was going to run.
Old Man Romney wanted to run......
