Moonbats are back and morphing into Occupiers - Olney, MD-Wks. 332 and 333, June 2 and 9, 2012

Posted on 06/15/2012 3:58:06 PM PDT by trooprally

After 3 weeks of not showing up, the moonbats have once again miraculously appeared. The following week they morphed right before our eyes into Occupy Olney.

WEEK 332, June 02,2012

The 8 patriots this week include Veterans Dave (Army- WWII), Glenn (USMC - Iwo Jima), Lurker Jim (Army- Vietnam) and [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s), along with Lurker Bill, Janet, GunsAreOK and myself.

A Big THANK YOU to [Mrs] T for her continuous picture taking.

MOONBATS : Two

BELOW LEFT: Dave and Glenn - both WWII Vets, Navy and Marines. Fitting reunion they have almost every Saturday. BELOW RIGHT: Janet, Dave’s friend, enjoying another Saturday morning in Olney.

BELOW LEFT: Lurker Jim acknowledging “Gunny” [Mrs] T BELOW RIGHT: Lurker bill acknowledging passing support

And the Moonbats

BELOW LEFT: Two moonbats . Corner looks barren. BELOW RIGHT: This moonbat can’t figure out her message. Quakers are not to have allegiance to a country, but she has the flag taped to her sign. And peace is patriotic? Yea, when our brave military defend their right to protest in peace.

WEEK 333, June 09,2012

Four patriots this week include Veterans Lurker Jim (Army- Vietnam) and [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s), along with Lurker Bill, Fraxinus and myself.

The Legionaries had a memorial service for a Marine and could not make it today.

BELOW LEFT: The bobbsy twins, me and Fraxinus. Same wave, same red caps, same light shirts. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill. No this picture is not from last week. We just have the same good times each week.

The moonbats called in reinforcements. Counting the occupiers , they had 6. Woohoo!! The “quackers” have morphed to gain bodies. Problem is that in 2006 they had 2 other groups supporting them, averaging about 10 each week. They have all deserted. With the occupiers closing camps in DC, I guess this is the place to go. I wonder how long they will last, when the hot July sun starts to beat down on them. Did I mention that for these two Saturdays that two “quackers” arrived 20 minutes late. But they left with the others promptly at 11:30.

DC Chapter Master Ping List

Here come the “Occupiers” from DC. I heard that they were closing up their last tent at McPherson Square. About 2 months ago the Occupiers at Freedom Plaza joined forces with the McPherson Square maggots. Even then, they only “occupied” about a third of what they did last fall.

You are welcome from the Olney patriots.

Are you going to be back here any time? We would be honored to have you stand with us as you did at Walter Reed.

I love these threads because I owned a bicycle shop in that center in the 80’s. It was at the far end to the right of Ledo Pizza (it was Pizza Oven then). The restaurant on the far corner (moonbat alley) was built ‘88 or ‘89.

Looking at Google Earth images of Olney, I hardly can tell what is what. When I was a kid, 97 and 108 was a 4 way stop.

Thank you, Sir! I was so honored to get to participate, and
just wish I could do so again. I don’t think I’ll be there
any time soon, though. It’s kind of a trip from West Texas. :)

Thank YOU all for a magnificent job for our troops!

I remember our discussion about your bike shop and all that has changed in Olney. [Mrs] T and I arrived here after the 4 way stop had been replaced with a light. Finnyfrocks was still there though.

The “moonbat alley” restaurant sure has under gone a lot of different changes.

Glad we can keep you up on “progress” in Olney.

West Texas - knew you were in Texas, but yep, West Texas is a long haul. Easier for you to join JimRob for one of his FReeps.

Hi. Keep meaning to ask. Do the moonbats ever get any honks or thumbs up? Do people even notice that they are there? Kudos again for all your labor of love.

Yes, they occasionally get some honks. Not sure about thumbs up, can’t see them.

But, we have it first hand from two people who have been over there having a “discussion” with the moonbats, that some of the honks are to get their attention, then the passing car yells at them or flips them out.

And yes, we also get the same from libs.

Occasionally we get a honk and wave from a car and then we hear them honk at the moonbats. One has to wonder if they are flipping them out.

Hugs to you all from the Sunshine State where we certainly have those nice hot summers too! Thanks for all you do in support of our Military and in standing up to those idiot “Obama Lovin, Occupy Nutcase, Socialist Moonbats”!

Doing a Virginia and Maryland ping here to let Freepers and other patriots in the area (and not too far driving distance) know about your continued support of our troops no matter what the weather! From the portable heater, warm mittens, hot coffee days to the iced down cooler, cold drink days of summer!

Wish we could be there, but maybe we will see you sometime in September. :)

The fact that their numbers are dwindling is a good sign. We know they will try to muster up a group to appear in Tampa in August, but they have to have big money for permits if they get them at all. And if they do show up, their behavior will most likely get them out of town quite quickly! We have laws, and Governor Scott enforces them! He has a lovely way of telling the Feds, when they don't follow the laws, to go pound sand!!

Thanks for the MD and VA ping.

And yes, hope to see you in September.

I assume the “Occupiers” are who you are talking about in Tampa.

The “quackers” believe in “vigils” where they just stand there so no criminal activity from them. /sarc off

OMG! Pizza Oven! THAT’s the place my family stopped at for GREAT pizza in Olney after a bike ride at the C&O c. 1982.

I’ve hardly been in Monty Co. but when we’ve been through Olney lately (I have a friend now who lives nearby), I don’t recognize it compared to that time at Pizza Oven. I can’t figure out where it had been - glad someone mentioned it to help me get my bearings!
