I don’t think the SPLC has a sense of goodwill.
It was founded by radicals, and while it has done some good work (such as a project to clear land titles for property owned by poor blacks in the South), in recent years it has become nothing but a left wing pressure group.
A couple of years after the election of The One, the SPLC was contracted by the government to identify and track “hate groups.”
First of all, this is unnecessary, since true hate groups are pretty obvious and in any case tracking the dangerous ones is the responsibility of the FBI and not some private, politically connected organization. Secondly, because it is primarily political in nature, the group exists solely to classify as a “hate group” any organization that does not conform to the left-wing policies that motivate our current government.

There's two lines of thought here, neither of which can be proven or disproven at this point:
1) The perp was trying to pass himself off as an intern, so the sandwiches were part of the bluff to try and get past the entrance and deep into the office area. ("I'm bringing food for the bosses.")
2) In some form of sick symbology, the perp was going to place a Chick-Fil-A sandwich on each body.
SPLC is a hate group. They are the ungodly.

The Left have no shame, no conscious, and apparently no soul. They have nothing but mindless rage toward anyone who objects or disagrees with their perverted world view. Incapable of accepting facts, common sense, or thousands of years of precident-setting history, their sole purpose in life is the preservation of their false ideology. They are pathetic and dangerous people, and the general public had better wake up to that danger before its too late.
