Ermey played a former drill sergeant in the commercial, where he called a weeping man a “jackwagon” before throwing a box of tissues at the man in a hilarious and popular commercial for Geico.

Not that I’m a GEICO fan, but I believe that they also fired the original gecko voice when he expressed a political opinion from the liberal side. Sounds like they are just trying to be neutral.

Although, IMHO, any “neutral” persons in the era of the Obamadork deserves thrashing, derision, and f*rting in the general direction of.

I liked the caveman. They should update it and say “So easy Biden can do it!”

LOL! Now THAT would get my attention!

I got a glimpse of their mentality back in the ‘90s when I worked for Brown & Williamson tobacco in Macon, GA. While our new building was going up, we rented a few floors in their building.

The next thing we knew, all their employees who smoked were gathered in the stairwell on our floors because GEICO didn’t allow smoking in their offices.

A week or so later they were all gone, now standing outside the building to smoke as GC banned smoking in the building as well.

A few weeks later the smokers were nowhere in sight. I asked someone where they went and they pointed to the far end of the property, just about in the woods, where the smokers were now standing just outside the property line. GC had banned smoking from the entire site.

I guess the next step would have been to fire all the smokers but mercifully we moved out.

At that time GC was flooding the TV with ads for people to work there. I talked with a few newbies, who all said the place was a Big Brother sweatshop with someone always monitoring you and that few lasted more than a month.

The “JackWagons” that run GEICO can fire anyone they want..
But there is no reason to continue using their company for insurance either..

They DO NOT have the best price for everybody anyway..
“JAckWagons” may be another term for democrats..

What exactly is a “jackwagon”? Does it have dirty connotations, or can a lady such as myself use it without impropriety? Yes, I know it was used on TV, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

what was so great about that AD was how true it was.

The young modern day girlie boy lying there crying and the older more conservative guy basicaly saying get a grip of yourself you soft ass, what a little baby you and you were obviously raised off a mother with no father who wanted a girl.

How true that AD is of today and many of the student aged girlie boys we see today

“Geico is owned by America’s #1 hypocrite, Warren Buffet.”

Actually, in my book he’s an unprosecuted criminal, though he’s getting competition from Jon Corzine.

The mortgage mess doesn’t happen if Moody’s rates MBC’s in an honest manner. Bonds backed by $750K loans to illegal immigrant strawberry farmers and hotel maids should have received the CCC rating they deserved. Someone still would have bought them, and there’s no way AIG would have insured them.

Warren’s Moody’s firm? He owned 20 percent at the time. They rated those bonds AAA - same as US treasuries, at least back then. AIG sold insurance on those bonds at the AAA rate, not the CCC rate.

What a scheme: “Hey Barney, take that out of your mouth for a second and listen. You can make loans to illegal aliens if you allow the banks to make bonds out of those and sell them so that they can dump it from their books. We’ll make the Dems a permanent majority by turning illegals into US homeowners. I’ll rate the bonds AAA and they can get good rates for swaps and we’ll create a virtuous cycle of Democrat prosperity the world has never before seen . . . “

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but S&P, Fitch, and Moody’s ALL rate those shitty bonds AAA, the statistics on that possibility are awful low.

'shopped around for Insurance and Geico was one of them. What they quoted me was over $1000 per six month even though I had been over 65, and they claim they are lower then anyone else' YEP i had the same experience there is actually a gieco office not far from here i visited them once and they could never give me a quote under 15% more than i was already paying...i think it has something to do with A SPIKE IN THE price of LIZARD FOOD

I like Ermy (sp) and I am un-opinionated on Geico.

In this day and age, no company can afford to have a spokesperson - of any political identity - going and out saying things like Ermy said.

Take what he said and replace “Obama” with “Bush” and I’d want him fired.

I’m trying to be objective.
