Unreal… Islamist Wears Tattered & Torn US Flag As Scarf at DNC Jumah
Gateway Pundit ^ | 9/1/12

Nice prayer service, Democrats. A Muslim leader wears a tattered and torn US flag as a scarf at the Jumah at the DNC event today in Charlotte.

Muslims gather for outdoor “Jumah” prayers at Marshall Park in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday, the first of several events planned by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs in the run up to the Democratic National Convention in the city. (MSNBC)

Of course, the women were lined up behind the men. It’s the DNC’s very own War on Women.

The Obama Campaign listed an “Islamic Jumah at the DNC” as an “official function” at the DNC convention in Charlotte.

That is not the flag. That looks to be a tablecloth pattern/checkered fabric..

If you enlarge it you can see the stars close to his neck is the flag.

THE BUREAU OF INDEGENOUS MUSLIM AFFAIRS (BIMA) IS A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION SEEKING STATUS WITH THE UNITED NATIONS AS A NON GOVERMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGO). BIMA WAS FOUNDED IN 1992 BY THE LATE HAJJ HESHAAM JAABER. THE OBJECTIVE OF BIMA IS TO PROVIDE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO INDIGENOUS MUSLIMS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

I enlarged the area by his neck—I can’t be sure that part is apart of our flag. The checkered part is not.

Could be the red square [ signifying being in the red in an economic sense ] the Quebec student protesters are fond of wearing which the band Arcade Fire made famous during the season finale of Saturday Night Live. Much to the chagrin of the Montreal area talk show hosts etc.

No on second thought that is far too big to be the red square & is not worn on the lapel.

You can see without enlarging it that the red and white are in a plaid, not a striped pattern.

(And yes, I found the DNC’s embrace of Jumah prayers offensive.)

INDIGENOUS MUSLIMS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

It is nice to know that the American Indians who are Muslims have a bureau of affairs to help them out.

Whether it’s the flag close to his neck/around his neck it seems he is sending a message or a statement. What that would be, I don’t know. The link on the top, click official function which has some interesting points about the event.

I think the stripes have been folded and that is why it looks plaid.

You’re right. In this case, people are getting their whities in a wad for nothing.

Or, it could be leftover material from one of Moochelle's dresses?

With a little imagination...maybe...

Picture quality is not good enough to see it, IMO.
