So what this guy risks by calling us racists, is losing the majority of voters who are White, and don’t consider themselves to be racists.

Like the Old Confederacy? Well then I guess he’s forgot one thing. The Dixie South at the time of the most Klu Klux Klan activity and the highest levels of racism, was heavily Democrat.

Do the names George Wallace, Orvil Faubus, and U. S. Senator Byrd(D) ring any bells?

Two had to be forced at the end of a National Guard bayonet to allow black children into southern public schools. The third was a Klu Klux Klan organizer and Klan leader.

Don’t accuse me of looking like the old Confederacy, unless you want me to explain what the old Confederacy and Dixie Democrats looked like.

Remember Lincoln? He wasn’t a Democrat. Get the picture?

Not until around Richard Nixon’s time did the South go Republican.

I know I’m not a racist. And frankly, I never thought they’d be low enough to call me a Democrat. I knew better than to go that route in my mid teens.

They still don’t.

One of President Obama’s first tax increases was for a 10% use tax on tanning beds.

Mark Levin was flummoxed by this tanning tax. I tried in vain to call in and say it was a racially motivated tax on pale skinned Americans, high fived and laughed about by the brothers in the know with AlObama.

Mr. Andrew Sullivan, who's the racist now?

Obama is not as smart as Sarah Palin, and she is eye candy to boot!

Mr. Obama is a thin skinned malcontent living with a huge chip on his shoulder.

He is under the mistaken belief that life is fair.

Luck is made by hard work and good choices.

Welfare is the back up plan for the incompetent.

Polishing turds and expecting results other than a gleaming turd is absurd.

Not until around Richard Nixon’s time did the South go Republican.

Five states comprising the heart of the South were well ahead of the curve in 1964 by supporting Barry Goldwater. Even then, much of the South was rejecting slavery, instead embracing freedom and liberty by rejecting the Communist agenda of the DemonRATS:

Had the rest of the nation followed the lead of the South back in 1964, we'd be living in a far better world. Communism would have been conquered and Vietnam would be united as a pro-America country.

Andrew’s real problem has nothing to do with race or racism, but what he perceives as bigotry against homosexuals. He knows the anti Obama sentiments in America have nothing to do with racism. Andrew can’t cry homophobia, because whites aren’t the only voters who don’t approve of Obama’s homosexuality. He hopes to shame weak-minded white voters with the racist vilifications.

Goldwater did those southern states in 1964, but by 1968 all but South Carolina were taken away by George Wallace.

Then in 1972, Nixon grabbed almost everything including the south.

In ‘76, Carter got it.

Nixon didn’t take the South forever for the Republicans. I was wrong. I believe we took it after Carter until Clinton in ‘92

Occasionally, CSPAN will show some old 1980’s/90’s interviews with a young and upcoming conservative named Andrew Sullivan. It’s a sad thing to know that his strange political reinvention is 100 percent the result of his deviant sex life. He is the prime example of a person being entirely controlled by a couple of his/her own body parts.

In a way, it’s a result of giving oneself over to reprobate behavior. Reprobate sexual behavior would logically result in a reprobate way of thinking per Romans 1 and supporting a reprobate system, i.e., socialism.

Although I agree with you about the country being in much better shape had Goldwater won in '64, I would really like for us not to accept the color scheme switch that the left has foisted upon us. Conservatives should not be associated with the color red. Red is for commies and commie sympathizers, like the Democrats. This Orwellian Doublespeak where conservatives are angry commie red and liberals are soothing blue must stop. I refuse to say I live in the Red state of Texas. I live in the true-blue state of Texas where we believe in the constitution and all things American.
Proof:
the real blue america

I’d like to see an electoral map exactly like that again. Sadly, I figure it won’t be in the remainder of my lifetime.

Simple solution. Force Fox news and other conservative outlets to use the color scheme in its original manner, explaining on the way what the colors red and blue stand for in historical political terms. If dems and libs and could throw off their commie associations by doing a color switch, we could do the same. Sooner rather than later, it would be commonly accepted way again.

Its beneath Andrew Sullivan to bring up black racism - 90% of blacks Obama because of his skin color.

Whites look at the character and record of the candidate, not at his origin. But according to Sullivan, every white person who won’t vote for Obama is “racist.”

Gee, thanks for that particular insight. When the Left is desperate it resorts to the Race Card TM. Andrew, nice try but no cigar. The “white guilt” meme isn’t working this year. And what you’re doing is not only outrageous, Obama will lose than gain more votes because you know how white people intend to vote - and they don’t take kindly to being insulted!

Shame on you for such inflammatory, divisive and ugly rhetoric. Not that I expect you to refrain from trying to set Americans against each other. The days of the Obama regime are numbered for reasons that have nothing to do with who the President is and it has everything to do with his lousy record and incompetence.

Americans know why they vote and all your pathetic attempts to intimidate them into voting for the One won’t stop them from doing what’s right for our country. Andrew, shut the hell up with your racist condescension. I’ve just about had my fill of it this year!

Why did we ever give such power to the race card? Doubtless there will be conservatives who, upon reading this moron’s words, hurriedly babble all the reasons why they’re not racist.

For me, I don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Call me a racist; you’ll get a laugh, and an explanation of why that crap doesn’t wash anymore with most folks (in my most infuriatingly condescending manner). :)
