DOJ just called the place where I work
Phone call | 25 March 2013 | Mene

Posted on 03/25/2013 12:31:41 PM PDT by MeneMeneTekelUpharsin

The Department of Justice supposedly just called and a man named "Jerry" who sounded of Indian or Pakistani origin (thick accent) asked if a V.M. (name obscured in case this is real) were here. I was busy and got his number to call him back. The phone number is 814-289-8211. I called back and got another foreign-sounding individual on the phone. He transferred me to "Agent Jerry's" office.

Upon reconnecting with "Agent Jerry", I told him she doesn't work here (never heard of her). I asked him how a foreigner could get that kind of work in the DOJ and he indignantly asked me why I would have a problem with a foreigner working in the Dept. of Justice. I told him I grew up overseas and have traveled the world and other countries don't allow that. We quickly ended the phone call because it was obvious we weren't going to agree.

Can anyone check that number and see if it is indeed DOJ? If so, sounds like the entire staff is now from India or who knows the hell from where. Don't have time to pursue it. Gotta work to pay taxes for crap like that. Probably a scam. Help...

LOL A few years ago I got a call from FBI agent Bob. When I asked his badge number he told me it was 001.

I Googled it any DOJ didn’t come up. I would suppose any government office would show up on a Google check. Sounds suspicious.

I have customers from the FBI and when they call from work the caller id comes up 000-000-0000 so I would watch out. Sounds like a scam.....

Hey, with this regime, I wouldn’t be surprised if the caller wasn’t a member of the Muzzie Brotherhood division of the DOJ.

He could have at least tried harder at being believable. He could have used James and 007.

I teach government at the local college.

Had a student of mine relate that she didn’t turn in her research paper because when she opened her email to send the paper to me, she had an email from the FBI.

This email, she says, stated she was being watched by the FBI and they determined she was not a threat to the US. In order to remove her name from the watch list, she had to click on a link in the email, enter her personal identification and bank information.

She panicked and did exactly what “they” told her to do. . . and promptly had her ID stolen and all her funds in the bank went bye-bye.

She is a nice person, basically, but because she is one of Holder’s people, she told me, she felt targeted by the FBI before and wanted it to all go away. . .

Sheesh.
