WHAT percent of American men are gay? This question is notoriously difficult to answer. Historical estimates range from about 2 percent to 10 percent.
But somewhere in the exabytes of data that human beings create every day are answers to even the most challenging questions.
Using surveys, social networks, pornographic searches and dating sites, I recently studied evidence on the number of gay men. The data used in this analysis is available in highly aggregated form only and can be downloaded from publicly accessible sites. While none of these data sources are ideal, they combine to tell a consistent story.
At least 5 percent of American men, I estimate, are predominantly attracted to men, and millions of gay men still live, to some degree, in the closet. Gay men are half as likely as straight men to acknowledge their sexuality on social networks. More than one quarter of gay men hide their sexuality from anonymous surveys. The evidence also suggests that a large number of gay men are married to women....

The old military test to see if someone was gay was to show them photos of naked women. If the pupil of the eye opened, they were straight.
If not, then show them photos of naked men. If the pupil opened, they were homo and kicked out.
I remember reading of a young man whose mom died when he was a baby. He was raised around men only. When drafted, the military noticed something wrong with him.
He was given the test. No reaction with women photos. No reaction with men photos.
Scratching their heads, and finding out about his background, they showed him a photo of a cow. INSTANT REACTION!
I wish I knew what book I read it from. It is in the library at John Brown University in Siloam Springs Arkansas.
Turning it around is not profitable. It can only result in stronger citizens and stronger nation - and smaller government. Obviously, this is unacceptable to "them."
The politicians are just riding the popular wave of debris. They don't care what that wave is, or how moral it is. Today they are supporting gays; tomorrow they will support zoophilia; day after tomorrow they will support a pervertion that we have no name for yet. Politicians are only interested in power, in control. It is much easier to gain those if politicians fragment the society and create permissive atmosphere (also known as chaos.) If 99% of the society do not care about politics, or cancel each other's efforts, then the remaining 1% can take control. A well organized society will never allow 1% to control the 99%.
Note also that a chaotic society, where only 1 out of 100 neighbors may be your friend, is a necessary condition for the "fundamental transformation" of the country. The government could do whatever it wants, and the majority of your neighbors will only laugh about your predicament. A solid granite boulder cannot be easily pushed around; but loosen it up, down to a fine sand, and even a child can scoop it up.
If those figures are discountimg babies born HIV or people getting the virus through blood transfusions, they are inaccurate. I believe the number to be much closer to 100%, dig deeply enough and there's a queer in the mix somewhere.

Somehow I don't think 80% of the population can be lesbians.
I am trying to figure out what they mean by "other men who have sex with men" who are not either homosexual or bisexual.

A very insignificant amount that should by all rights, have no toe-hold on anything political, that impacts the entire population of the Continental U.S.
Every male who voted for Obama is gay, homosexual, sexually perverted, among other undesirable habits. Voting for Obama was a coming out of the closet experience for millions of them.
Seems to me it would be the opposite. I know numerous straight men who are attracted to females but don't discuss it on social networks, but virtually all the gay men I know on social networks love to discuss how about they're into other guys and "oppressed" by the government.
Gay men? I know a lot of men who are happy. Oh, he means perverts....
