The real issue is the fact that the officer jumped up onto the hood to detain the car and opened fire within seconds.
Was there even enough time for a 19 year old to get off the gas after he jumped up on the hood before he opened fire?
She sure wasn’t any where close to aiming at him, in fact she was already well past him, he had to have moved fast and hard to jump up on her hood.

if she tried running the guy over after he asked her to stop, and she tried hitting him to where he’s on thetrunk of anothercar and she hits the car, i’d kinda say his life is in actual danger.
now if she just sped away and he opened fire on them i wouldn’t be with him on that.

How does one draw ones weapon while being “run over”. Was his weapon already out and pointed at the teen driver. Did he fire at a fleeing vehicle full of teenagers from the front or rear?
With a vehicle full of kids, is there any way this shooting was justified? If the officers story is true and she almost ran him over, why didn’t he get out of the way and radio it in. If he didn’t know the car was full of kids and didn’t have situational awareness he never should have fired. A Lawyer would destroy this guy on the stand.
I’m gonna hold my fire on this one and see what develops. Surely there is more going on here. If not, this cop is guilty of cold blooded murder! You don’t just shoot someone in the head 4 times without damn good reason! What was his reason? Nobody has mentioned ANY “good” reason so far, at least in anything I have read.
Obviously from the video’s he is up walking around. So, obviously she didn’t just “run over him”. Something else motivated this cop to jump on a hood and shoot a 19 year girl in the head four times! Good grief! Come on!

Police are about ego and power. Defiance is the ultimate crime.
With all of the rampant police shootings it seems like one of these days a parent or spouse is going to pay a visit to a cops house and exact revenge.
I cannot believe it hasn’t happened yet. Perhaps they would hesitate to kill if they felt it could come back on them and their family.
Another young life wasted by a gun happy cop.
Whether the Deputy was justified or not, how can he live with himself?
