I like.
Also, don’t drink and drive. Ubers are cheap.
WOW..!
Very slick, no back-talk, time-efficient.
5 stars!
The comments on the page are interesting. Many statists saying “driving is a privilege” etc. which is is. They are doing a license check, they take down your license. If you had an outstanding warrant, they would take you down, as they should on the basis of the license or the plates.
The basic premise is to avoid unlawful search and seizure which can occur. In FL concealed carry license is known (think it is cross referenced internally in the system- not publicly accessible), so they would know that also.
Remove the current “apple-world” view that “ if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear”-— because that is NOT true. The only way to contain a police state potential is removal of the process that puts an officer in the position of judging and handing out your rights, because too many think they should and that they are the arbiters. Interesting video.
I am appalled that this is acceptable.
I have had a lot of cop friends and I like cops.
This is an interesting video, and obviously the officers accepted the paperwork and passed the car through.
I don’t drink or smoke pot and drive so I don’t worry about checkpoints, but this is interesting.

Looks like they have flyers for FL, CA, NJ, OH, AR, UT, TX, GA, and SC.
I already saved the Texas version. I’ll print it out later today and start using it despite the fact that I do not drink nor do I ever do any illegal recreational pharmaceuticals.
I never trust “Big Brother” nor his hired thugs.
There are laws against driving with a foreign object hanging out of your window. There are laws against all normal behavior.
If a cop feels “dissed,” there are plenty of laws he can use as a pretext to make trouble.
Smart, very smart
What’s the point here? Don’t drink and drive and you won’t have a problem getting through the checkpoint.
Bookmarking this video. Excellent advice!

They do NOT fear average citizens, even if they are knowledgeable of the law.
Very interesting PING
this guy appeared to have two witness passengers with him.
I am thinking that the cops would not stand a chance in court if they busted a window, which seems to be the only option that this guy is giving them.
OTOH, if the driver looked drunk or if there was liquor, guns, or open alcoholic containers in plain sight in the car, then i would imagine that the outcome would have been different (drayage, privelege, state citizen considerations notwithstanding).
I would point out that these traffic stops are not just to get drunks off the highway and save lives, but also pick up those driving without drivers licenses and registration, people with outstanding warrants against them, stolen cars, etc.
if you check the results of these checkpoints, most citations appear to be drivers without licenses and registration. And many of them are illegal aliens.
Remember the highways are public, not private property. And the police are charged with keeping them safe for the public.
The best way is to avoid driving or otherwise spending money anywhere on checkpoint nights (no revenues through purchases of anything). And always avoid using harmful drugs.
In times past I have always called my friendly wrecker driver to get me and my car home in one piece! A 100.00 bill to get me home safe is CHEAP!
Do they have these for every state?
