I'll take "Ironical Ironies that make me LOL" for 200 next Alex...
Don’t screw the “good ole boys”. Nuff said.
I bet the workers did not use the word take in front of off!
North Charleston isn’t exactly the “nice” part of town
“workers are so opposed to signing up that they chased labor leaders off their porches at gunpoint”
It’s long past due that union thugs get a taste of their own medicine.
Former member of the IAW and the UAW.
I wasn’t very popular, as I was going to college at night to escape their nonsense.
Ha, ha.....The union doesn't seem to like the shoe being on the other foot as these are the same tactics the unions normally employ.....
Maybe the union thugs should have left when they were told to. Anyone comes to my house, onto my property uninvited and makes a nuisance of themselves... They are going to get asked to leave. Then they are going to get told to leave. If they are still here, their last warning will come over the barrel of a firearm aimed at them and be accompanied by the words "I now consider you a threat to my life..." just to keep it all legal. What happens in the next few seconds is up to them.
So far I've only ever had to get as far as the "told to leave." Though I'm pretty sure he looked down and noted that my right hand was behind me, out of sight. I figure he (correctly) assumed there was a loaded weapon in that hand.
Funny thing about answering the door with a weapon in hand - always check to see who is on your stoop before opening the door. One evening I looked out to see a pair of Sheriff's deputies. I discretely slipped the Glock into the drawer of a table by the door before opening it. Figured it might get the deputies excited or something. ;-) And no, they weren't there for me, just wanted to see if I had seen anything/anyone on the street earlier. Apparently there was a break in down the street.
About time someone showed some backbone!
The union said its organizers encountered a toxic environment in South Carolina.
I dont doubt that, but they can hardly blame that on Boeing, now can they? South Carolinians are still quite familiar with what unionization did to the textile industry there a few decades ago, namely sent the entire industry packing to China.
Two organizers were threatened at gunpoint during home visits to gauge support and urge votes for unionization, and others reported near-violent confrontations, it said.
I reckon the union “gauged” those folks as belonging in the don’t support column, huh?
Note to Boeing union thugs: Do NOT bring thug attitudes and clubs to a gunfight — unless you intend to leave at room temperature.
unions should be forced to hold a vote every four years to see if the union is aloud to represent the workers it claims to represent
LOL!
YOU decide.
