It is my opinion, however, that if he wants to ultimately be taken seriously by a sufficient number of voters to get him elected, he is going to need to show a more studious, serious, side on issues like foreign affairs.
I think he should "crack a book" and start educating himself.

How about an ounce of humility - he can admit he does not know all the answers - he is not a career politician so it is unsurprising that he does not know all the players in the foreign policy arena.

The MSM accepted that premise, so according to that standard, Trump needs to answer:
"I'm picking my VP on their expert foreign policy experience"

I like his thinking and decision making ability when presented with issues and facts surrounding issues.

It was an unfair question. There are a potentially infinite number of low level facts that one can ask a question about that have utterly NO bearing on matters of policy and that a president would never have to know to successfully head the executive branch. Does 0 know the names of all of the federal workers in the executive branch? I doubt it. Does the reporter who asked this know all of the speakers of the house were in the 20th century or even the names of all 400+ current reps? I suspect not. etc.

He doesn’t need to know the names. That’s why he has people he hires to know those names.

This is why I don’t listen to Hewitt anymore. Hewitt could ask a gotcha question on policy, like what federal agency would Trump get rid of to reduce the size of the federal gov’t. But Hewitt would never do that because he’s always been a chicken shit who is more interested in showing off how smart he is than in advancing conservative goals.
