TEHRAN (FNA) - The Yemeni army and popular forces hit a strategic military air base in Asir province in Southern Saaudi Arabia with Scud missiles, killing tens of high-ranking Saudi officers and commanders and destroying over two dozen F-15 fighter jets and Apache helicopters.

At least 66 high-ranking Saudi army officers, including two senior commanders, were killed when the Yemeni missiles hit Khamis Mushait air base in Asir province in retaliation for the kingdom's aggression against their nation.

The Yemeni forces also destroyed 17 F-15 fighter planes and 9 Apache helicopters.

About 300 Saudi officers were also injured in the Yemeni missile attack on Khamis Mushait air base.

No confirmation in the Suadi, British, American, or Israeli news media. Looks like potential Iranian disinformation.

Who thought Saudi Arabia would have so much trouble defeating a little country. Looks like this is an Iran/Saudi Arabia proxy war. Let them kill each other off?

From what we read, it seems that Saudi Arabia is behind ISIS and terrorism in the Mideast. I'd think that it's significant that the Yemenis are able to do damage within Saudi Arabia while Saudi's ISIS mercenaries are being thwarted by Russia's coalition in Iraq, Iran, and Syria.

The Saudi princes have created a global economic crisis with their manipulations of oil prices. They crucify and behead those who disobey their nutty laws. They're the home of the 911 maniacs, and the homeland of BinLaden. Why are they our ally?

Exactly, consider the source. That was my first thought when I saw the first word, TEHRAN. With all of the world’s media with some sort of eye on the ground, we have to hear this crap from Tehran first?

I summarize these propagandists have no idea what 9 Apaches could do to their defenses. Hey Tehran, take a clue and ask the Iraqis, if there are any left, who cowered in their bunkers hoping they would just fly over them. Hope they did, most found out the virgin thing was a big lie. Just like the rest of their cult “religion”.

Saudis strike in response to Houthi Scud attack as forgotten war rages on

"Airstrikes target launchers after missile struck close to Saudi airbase.... Saudi warplanes bombed targets in the Yemeni capital Sana’a on Thursday after Houthi rebels fired a Scud missile at an airbase across the border in a sudden escalation of a war that is taking a mounting toll on civilians..... Reports from Sana’a said airstrikes targeted missile launchers after a Scud impacted near Khamis Mushayt, close to a major Saudi air force base. "

Never mind what you read. All that you need to remember is;

Saudi = Sunni
Iran = Shite

This has been going on for over a thousand years. Sunni belief is domination by the sword. Shite belief is domination led my the Magic 12th Imam who has been hiding in the dry well in Isfahan for centuries. Both are competing against each other dominance of the Caliphate.

Since there are no good guys in the Arab world, it takes a little convoluted thinking to figure winners and losers here. However after a long hard period of study and thought (10 seconds or less), I think I know.

Winner: Boeing.
Saudis are going to need at least 17 new F15s and 9 Apache helicopters.

Loser: American taxpayer. We will have to pay for those 17 new F15s and 9 Apache helicopters.

It’s so confusing. I know the Saudis are Sunni, and that a reason to say the Sunnis are the bad guys. But do all Sunni’s agree with Saudi Arabia’s policies? I’m beginning to wonder if that might be the case, since the Sunnis in Iraq we were supporting didn’t stay around to fight ISIS.
