Retired Four-Star Admiral James “Ace” Lyons, one of the guests on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” this past Wednesday evening, suggests the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11 was the result of a bungled abduction attempt. Admiral Lyons, whose career in the United States (U.S.) Navy was capped by two years of service as the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet from 1985 to 1987, thinks this kidnapping was planned to be the first stage of an international prisoner exchange. This transfer of prisoners would have ensured the release of Omar Abdel Rahman, the “Blind Sheik” convicted of orchestrating the World Trade Center Bombing in 1993. Lyons' analysis of the evidence led him to the failed kidnapping conclusion. Admiral James Lyons suggests the Obama administration intentionally lessened the levels of security at the consulate compound in Benghazi in the weeks leading up to the attack. This plan should have worked to reduce the possibility of resistance as the Ansar al-Sharia terrorist organization captured Chris Stevens, the American Ambassador to Libya.

They were arming Syrian rebels, but this is the most logical explanation for the attack in Benghazi.
There was a reason the security was bad and Stevens was lured into the trap.
It was a kidnapping gone awry.

The story is great, the headline is wrong. It was not a “bungled” operation, it was a full scale military attack stopped by heroes Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.
I think this is true, and had it happened Romney would have won. There is no doubt that Obama and company feared another jimmy carter fiasco before the election and wanted it squelched at all costs, and that mean’t sacrificing our people. The four that died actually stopped something that could have more horrendous.
Possibly the tape of the Egyptian yelling “Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot! Dr. Morsi sent us!” That went missing REAL quick. I remember it because I was stunned Morsi was a Doctor of anything.

Best check who the Admiral supports politically. I do not buy the admirals guestimate. If this was a kidnap why did they have a Muslim anal coitus gang bang contest on the ambassador? The admiral should stick to hawking VA refi loans on TV.

As does the fact that the (homosexual) ambassador was in Benghazi to facilitate/expedite transfer of captured arms inside Libya - whether to or from Libyan terrorists is “somewhat” open to debate given the fanatic support the Obola administration gives EVERY Muslim group.
And the more radical the Muslim group, the more support they get.

I was thinking Obama would want to exchange 5 Guantanamo bad guys for an ambassador. Seems like a more legitimate trade. Actually, Obama was hoping to be a hero in getting Stevens back.
But he had to settle for a guy that later was found to be a deserter. No hero for Obama in this case.
