Criminal, murderous gangs, be they 'religious' or 'secular', when they break off, they generally want to kill the other. 'Bloods' vs 'Crips' or in Calgary, the two gangs are 'FOB' and 'FOBK', ('Fresh Off the Boat' and FOB Killers).

Originally, the FOB was a Vietnamese high school gang that eventually became 'multi-ethnic'. There was an internal dispute and some formed a rival gang, the FOBK, aiming to kill members of the FOB gang. The resulting war has led to 30+ murders in Calgary so far this year.

Not at all a surprise that AQ wants to kill ISIS and vice versa. Several days ago, someone posted a link to this article in The Atlantic, that discusses their difference and reasons for their mutual dislike. Sunni versus Shiite, innovative versus traditional, etc.

Personally, I hope they enjoy great success in 'offing' each other and become so pre-occupied with that battle, that they let up on civilians, then President Cruz or President Trump, President Putin and President Xi Jinping, can 'solve' the issue of moslem extremism together.
