Star Wars Is Garbage

With Star Wars, liberal Hollywood got it all wrong. They get everything wrong, of course, but this movie franchise really takes the biscuit. They turned the heroes into villains, and the villains into shining beacons of virtue. With a new film on the horizon, I feel duty-bound to warn you about the desperate shortcomings of this particular entertainment phenomenon.
If we are honest with ourselves, the real wretched hive of scum and villainy is Skywalker Ranch, where George Lucas and his band of morally dissolute bastards created the Star Wars universe, a blight on western civilisation and culture.

I realize Yannopoulous is being tongue-in-cheek, but this Empire-good-Rebels-bad meme has been doing the rounds for a few months now, and it’s gotten boring.

I hope I'm not spoiling anyone's outrage but I'm guessing - just guessing, mind you - that the author's tongue is firmly implanted in cheek over this one. Why would I say that?
Jabba the Hutt, or as I call him Jabba the Hero, was brutally murdered by a white woman. Why don't I see a single #GreenLivesMatter protest? Jabba's main crime as far as I can tell was being a slug of size. Leia brutally slugshamed him.
Oh, no particular reason... ;-)

Star Wars is responsible for the name of our Pekingese, Ewok. Because that’s exactly what he looked like as a puppy.

How about this line?
That's right nerds: the Rebel Alliance is ISIS.
I removed an article many years ago called something like In Defense of the Galactic Empire that was in the same vein.

I remember seeing a TV commercial for the first Star Wars as an 11 year-old. I thought it was a comedy.

Most gladly drink the Kool-Aid. They really don’t care if it’s spiritual poison. They don’t understand how high the stakes are or they wouldn’t go near it.

Who is the Phantom Menace? I bet you donât know. I doubt Lucas knows.
One theory getting currency was that it was supposed to be Jar Jar Binks, who was an undercover Sith Lord, but Lucas didn't have the guts to follow through when Binks turned to be so unpopular.

I too will go on a day and time when the theater won’t be so crowded - especially with teenagers with their cell phones!

Idiots camping out outside of movie theaters for the past month is a perfect example of what is wrong with America. If they keep this kind of crap up, we’re going to lose our freedom. Their camping out to see a movie days will be over.

Hokey reporters and cheesy CGI are no match for a huge pile of moola in Lucas’s bank account.

” That’s how bad Jar Jar Binks was...”
I recently heard on radio somewhere that Jar-Jar was originally supposed to have been some kind of Sith Lord ... good thing Lucas backed off on that one. That would have wrecked the franchise...

Itâs a s.t.o.r.y., not real life. Who cares if something is messed up in Star War land?I agree. It's not like it's one of those so called "based on a true event" or "based on a true story" movies Hollywood makes that are about 90% B.S.

Contrarian view re: Jar Jar Binks.
I firmly believe the hatred for JJB is due the character being a total outlier in the enormous cast. Somebody actually spent time to develop him in greater depth than any other. Best dialog compared to the two dimensional cardboard standard. More emotion depth as well.
