Oh for the love of Pete.

Was he the guy who said someone’s dog droppings were the only project that was shovel ready? Or was it his dog? Somehow that came to mind.

Might give me someone to vote for if the conservative brainfart lasts into voting time. I’ll have to check him out. I’ll most likely find he’s just another pot-head Liberaltarian (not a true libertarian).

Just what we need: MORE CANDIDATES

I’m reasonably sure his financial resources will be limited. So why bother?

Yes, this is a joke. But...

There are more than a few FReepers out there who will vote for this turd even over Trump or Cruz.

There used to be a strong libertarian presence here at FR. Most of them wised up or left.

Another LOSERTARIAN doing his bit for the establishment by draining a small percentage of “low-information” conservatives away and tipping a number of races to the ‘RATS.

I have libertarian leanings, yes.

Would i stand behind this Johnson fellow? NO.

Here’s why: In the last Libertarian nomination caucus, there was a more well-spoken, more defined named character called King, with whom Johnson was contending for the nomination.

Johnson has the same hillaryitis: ‘it’s mine, i worked for it, you owe to me, it’s mine!’

The caucus cowed and gave it to Johnson.

If a well known populist wins the the Republican nomination, Johnson could represent a powerful siren call for free-market conservatives and libertarians. It would be a nightmare, I know... A positive conservative vision can still beat rhetoric and cynicism.
