Which is why my first word is “if”.
He WILL get the votes, just as Perot proved it was doable to reach people that normally do not vote. Tens of thousands of people do not line up in the New England winter if they are also not going to vote for him.
The idea that Trump can’t get his voters out, based on the voting history of those people, is simply the latest idea to try to bring him down. Of course it won’t work. For completeness, put Jeb or any other Open Borders Republican (Rubio, Christie, Carla, etc.) on the ballot and the Libs will get the turnout that they’re (falsely, and knowingly) projecting for Trump. They know those guys will be a REPEAT of Romney, if not worse.
I’m waiting for pictures of all the large crowds Cruz is drawing at his rallies....
...also sounds like Time is having problems selling copy, if they put Trump on the cover like this.
By the way, I recommend you change the title of your posting to “How Trump Won” to make it easier for others to search (and to abide by FR’s posting rules).

It will be worse. I voted for Romney. I will vote for Cruze or Trump. Period. I already know Hillary thanks me. Obama thanks me. The Democrat Party thanks me. The WCTU thanks me and do on.
I’m with you...no way for the others, for me. I’m sick of my major motivation being to vote AGAINST the Democrat, rather than FOR someone.
The thing is - the Republican Party knows all that...but they fear Trump so much that they’d much rather have Hillary. We need to prevent their attempt to destroy the country.

Same here. Ive told this very hing to my elected officials and the RNC. If we get another establishment candidate, i’ll stay home, and I’m far from alone on this. Look what voting for Republicans who have promised the world and failed to deluver has gotten us.
Not to worry TIME. The DemocRAT cavalry is on the way.

I wouldn’t want to embarrass him or his supporters with the “intimate” size of his audience....
If Cruz does happen to win the nomination, will you vote for him or will you be staying home hoping for a Clinton win so you can come back and say “I told you so”?
