Donald Trump on 9/11: "You Will Find Out Who Really Knocked Down The World Trade Center"
Real Clear Politics ^ | 2/18/16 | RCP

Posted on 02/18/2016 8:38:36 AM PST by gridlock

At a Wednesday morning campaign event in Bluffton, SC, Donald Trump takes his relitigation of the Bush administration's record on 9/11 and Iraq to the next level, seeming to imply that we don't currently know who "really" committed the 9/11 attacks.

Trump says if he is elected: "you will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center."

"It wasn't the Iraqis," he explained. "You may find it's the Saudis."

"They have papers in there that are very secret," he also said, referencing the 28 still-classified pages of the 9/11 commission report. "But you will find out."

Trump Bots would rather talk about anything else other than crazy uncle Ted who is getting more obnoxious and loony everyday. He is starting to sound more like Rosie O’Donnell and Michael Moore.

IKR? Why is this what Trump has chosen to focus on? It only takes the focuse of Obama/Hillary/democrat incompetence and corruption.

Maybe during trump's foray into the worldwide search for a valid BC for O, he found proof of a Saudi connection to the financing of O's higher education.

Google "Does 1979 newspaper column shed light on 2008 campaign story?" At dailyinterlake.com.

Then try "1979 Article Ties Obama's real father to Saudi financier" at WND.

Percy Sutton, thank you for not being able to control your urge to brag. And may you RIP. And Frank Miele, may you forever be blessed for publishing your MOST interesting find.

We couldn't go after Saudia Arabia because they are ostentatiously our "friends"...or at least our corporate friends.

In 2001 the economy was still suffering from the aftermath of the popped tech bubble. Saudi Arabia was responsible for a huge part of world oil production. The US fracking boom was years away. If we'd gone after the Saudis they would have sabotaged their oil fields and there would have been a global depression.

Now that the world is less dependent on Saudi oil it's time to stop putting up with their sponsorship of terror. We don't need to invade them, but in no way should they be considered an "ally."

Trump is merely stating that the classified pages will be reviewed by his administration and may be disclosed if it is found (as he insinuates) that these pages are classified for no good reason except to protect certain people in power or who were in power, and by way of these people, the entire political establishment.

It’s one thing to classify material based on national security, it’s another thing to classify material based on saving one’s own skin or one’s own interest.

It’s becoming clear why the establishment hates Donald Trump so much. He is ready to blow the lid off the entire power apparatus and expose the traitors that are taking America under.

GW did the best possible and kept us from being attacked again in his terms.

He should have put an end to immigration from the islamic countries and put muslims under special scrutiny as security risks. You can't fight a politically correct war against muslim savages.

The legacy of Bush's war on terror is a failed state in Iraq, two Obama terms and Obamacare.

The issue that Trump is bringing up here is that the House of Saud is not our friend, any more than Saddam Hussein or Iran are. The House of Saud is the largest funder of mosques in the the world, and are the paymasters of many of the most radical degenerates who preach in those very mosques.
These are fair questions to be asked, because they were never answered effectively. The 9/11 Report, of which is partially the work product of one Jamie Gorelick. With her presence on the committee that wrote it, makes it suspect.
I'm not a 9/11 truther, just observing that; what would the report have concluded were she not there to protect the Clintons and herself? It may very well have reached the same result, or not.

Well said. The Saudis have also been "endowing" many U.S. universities with goodies -- buildings, academic chairs, etc., many predating the 9/11 atrocity, such as the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding mentioned in the article below:

Washington Post, 2005:
Saudi Gives $20 Million to Georgetown

A prominent Saudi businessman said yesterday that he is donating $20 million each to Georgetown and Harvard universities for the study of Islam and the Muslim world as part of his philanthropic efforts to promote interfaith understanding.

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, a member of the Saudi royal family, said in a telephone interview from the Saudi capital of Riyadh that he also has donated $15 million to establish the Middle East's first two centers for American studies, at universities in Beirut and Cairo.

"As you know, since the 9/11 events, the image of Islam has been tarnished in the West," said Alwaleed, who is chairman of the Riyadh-based Kingdom Holding Co. and has extensive business holdings in Europe and the United States.

He said his gifts to Georgetown and Harvard will be used "to teach about the Islamic world to the United States," and the new programs at American University in Beirut and American University in Cairo will "teach the Arab world about the American situation."

The $20 million gift to Georgetown is the second-largest ever received by the Jesuit-run university, school officials said. It will be used to expand the activities of the university's 12-year-old Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding.

"We are deeply honored by Prince Alwaleed's generosity," said a statement from Georgetown President John J. DeGioia, who met Alwaleed Nov. 7 in a Paris hotel to sign documents formalizing the donation.

Alwaleed, a grandson of the Saudi kingdom's founder, King Abdel Aziz, tried to give $10 million to the Twin Towers Fund shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 2001. But then-New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani rejected the donation... [more at link]

Georgetown University and its law school and School of Foreign Service is a feeder for many who work in government in DC, as well as a social and networking hub in the posh Georgetown neighborhood where many lifer politicians such as the Clintons and Marilyn Albright maintain residences. Bill is an alumnus of Georgetown U, if memory serves.

Horribly, one of Georgetown University's part time faculty members, Leslie A. Whittington was killed on American Airlines Flight 77, the 9/11 plane that crashed into the Pentagon, the smoke funnel from which was clearly visible from the upper floors and rooftops of Georgetown University two miles as the crow flies across the Potomac River. Accompanying her on the flight were her husband and their two small daughters. He a software engineer and she an economist in unrelated fields, they appeared to have no political connection to the 9/11 tragedy.

Also on that flight, however, was Barbara Olson, a Republican lawyer, author, congressional investigator and conservative commentator on CNN. Ms Olson was married to Theodore Olson, Solicitor General of the U.S. under George W. Bush (appointed after he had succeeded in arguing Bush's 2000 disputed election results before the Supreme Court). She had been scheduled to travel the previous day, but took Flight 77 instead so she could stay home long enough to wake up with her husband on his birthday, September 11. Ms. Olson had recently been the author of two critical books about the Clintons, Hell to Pay: The Unfolding Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton (1993) and The Final Days: The Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House, which was in the works at the time of the crash and published the following month, October 2001. Both Barbara Olson's death and her relationship with Ted Olson and the Bush Administration have received detailed scrutiny by 9/11 conspiracy theorists.

It is also worth noting that Hillary's closest associate, Huma Abedin, has worked as Hillary's personal aide since 1998. Ms Abedin's family members are long rumored to be involved with Muslim Brotherhood, and Abedin's access in the State Department has figured into the Benghazi inquiries. So while Bush's ties with the Saudis go 'way back, it is also timely to recognize that the Clinton's islamist ties are also part of the picture and may be on Trump's mind as he prepares to do battle against Hillary.

The obvious other reason why Trump may have amassed as much inside information as he could about the 9/11 attacks is that he is a developer of tower buildings in many parts of the world. Certainly the loony claims of Rosie O'Donnell about tower construction would have inflamed him far more than her jibes at his hairstyle and promotion of the Miss Universe pageant.

I think you’re on the money. Trump has inside knowledge on all these people in our country and there’s.

He’s a target.

Has anyone seen the video of the Bugarian president attempted assassination? this could happen here just as easily.

We have suicide bombers. You don’t think they’d love to take out our president and his family?

“I hope he doesn’t start talking about controlled demolitions and how “fires don’t melt steel beams...” etc.

Watch Trump explain that the massive amount of fuel and high heat brought down the building in an on site interview with German TV on 9/13/2001.

Classification is all about politics, eh? Uhh, no.

Try instead it’s all about protecting sources, assets, personnel, programs, processes and decision makers. The types of stuff adversaries are always trying to figure out so they exploit and defeat them.

Your rant is pathetic comedy in the backdrop of Hillary Clinton’s classified emails.

You can be assured I’ve held clearances far above and beyond anything you could ever imagine.

I have no problem with that.

But why is he talking about Iraq and saying that 9/11 was used to justify the Iraq War? This is simply not true.

So is Trump lying or stupid? (pick one)

Since we’re in agreement, can we start phonetically spelling out Pakistan in a manner that would essentially belittle Obama’s silly pronunciation of it?

In his defense, he was having to deal with a islamic-friendly democrat majority most of his term.

And yes, all of them should have done more. But I felt safe then when our military was strong and I don’t now.
