I’ve been asked by some friends why I would consider voting for Trump.
My usual answer is,”Because he is not one of THEM”.

Gosh, Jeff, I'm not sure about that. The elite have such a superiority complex that they really believe in themselves, and only themselves. It's their mission to educate us into the wisdom of letting them run things uncontested. If that fails, they take it as their obligation to defeat the masses by any means necessary.
Trump threatens their order of things. It isn't that he'd fail, it's that he and others, if we succeed, may not have the upbringing and loyalty to understand the way things are.
My whole life has been "both sides of the tracks". Don't much like it when the elite profess to be smarter, better educated, or more capable than I am. I suspect a majority of US citizens feel this way now. We don't much trust the elite, and after today's Romney speech, we realize that we don't even like them.

As a Cruz supporter...you are welcome.
The real goal is defeating Hillary or sanders...the secondary goal is clear that we must undo the GOPe.
They are willing to destroy party and the country to get their way...even when it is clear that the people are not with them.
They are showing themselves for what they are.
If and when Trump wins the nomination, I will support him 100%.

I am for Cruz...100% until he either wins it, or drops out.
But should Trump win the nomination, I will support him in the general 100%.
We dare not allow the GOPe or ANYONE ELSE, cause us to take our eye of the primary goal.

You have a good point.
It is clear that the GOPe are on the cusp of showing themselves openly to not care for the country or its future as much as they care for their own trappings of power.
The Tsunami we are seeing is really about that...and that was what I tried to convey to Romney.
Great letter. I read every word. You did a fantastic job. I think that Paul Ryan had something to do with today’s speech by Romney. Ryan (apparently) flew to Utah sometime this week and met with him. I am so glad it backfired on Romney. Of course Cruz will be yapping about Romney tonight but other then that it won’t be mentioned after Monday at the most.
