And some of his ideas are within broad boundaries and not yet refined. He still has to keep them within some degree of reason or he will lose membership from his parade. We do not have an utter dice throw here, but more a process of convergence based on some heuristics.

We came into the political world at the same time.

And I agree.

Trump is our only hope, for serious universal change.

Exactly right. Well said.

>>>While the field was competitive with several candidates Reagan did not fare any better than Donald Trump is now. Indeed, Bush won Iowa, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Of the first 14 primaries Reagan had 50% or less of the vote in 8 of them with only one being 50%<<<

Wow, I can envision the Kasich / Rubio Team tearing it up.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Unfortunately it’s pure limbic motivation and emotional decisions are almost always poor ones.

I don't know. I got a daughter and 2 grandchildren out of that limbic stuff.

While the field was full (5 candidates), Reagan won Alabama with 70%, Georgia with 73% and Kansas with 63%. Has Trump won any state with more that 50%?

That was then. This is now. Different candidates, different times, different issues.

Donald Trump isn't Ronald Reagan. He's Donald Trump. He's very likely to enjoy support from a lot of the same voting blocs that Reagan relied on to win his landslide.

The electorate is pissed, beyond all capacity for Establishment understanding. It just goes to show what a detached bubble these elites truly live in.

There's nothing more important than for the Washington DC Establishment of both parties to be shaken to its core. Nothing.

“That was then. This is now. Different candidates, different times, different issues.

Right. Then stop with the articles comparing him to Reagan.

Remember...keeps yyur friends close and your enemies closer. That can apply as well.

Trump does the same thing...and I am fine with that because I believe Trump is committed to his message and the actions he needs to take to accomplish them.

Excellent observations.
