“Oh please. He flip flops more than a fish out of water.”

Not really, he has misspoken but he really doesn’t change his views unless he gets new information that tells him he should...and that is a super character strength. Not a flaw.

“There were only 8 GOP candidates vying for votes in the 1980 primaries.
There were 12 GOP candidates in Iowa, 2016:”

There’s only 4 now, and Trump still isn’t surpassing the 35% - 40% popular vote.

“LOL”

If you were not a low information voter you would know that Trump has remained steady for the most part for years. If you look at what Romney and Trump said in 2012 you will see he held the exact same views as now. If you look at what Trump testified before congress more than 15 years ago you would see his views are pretty much the same as now. You have just been brainwashed and do not have the ambition to learn.

A sow hog has 6 teats on each side, so she can have as many as 12 piglets.
Of course, if there are fewer sucking they each get more milk.
Ronald Reagan got a lot of the same denigration you’re dishing out when he was running from other candidates’ fans, a lot of it from Mitt’s Daddy.

Donald Trump sounds nothing like Reagan. I would have been more than happy to vote for him had I been old enough at the time.

Thank you.

it is going as well as I can expect...and I am very grateful that I have been preserved for the last six years since my major surgeries and removal of the cancer.

God in Heaven has been very kind to me.

We’ve had six grandkids since that time...and that makes eleven now. I have to say that those grandkids are a sweet spot.

I’m not a low information voter. Which is why I support Cruz. Trump is full of hot air and no substance.

That alone is proof of being a low information voter...

I was following Cruz long before he got into the race for the Senate while trump was subsidizing the establishment. I know exactly who I’m supporting.

Well, he has done better than that in five of his 12 wins.

46% in NV
44% in AL
50% in MA
43% in LA
40% in TN

With four or more candidates in each of those, he has done fairly well.

Cruz did better in three of his six wins:

45% in TX
46% in ME
48% in KS

Rubio has the highest so far in one of his two wins:

75% in PR

Donald Trump is crass.
Donald Trump is irreverent
Donald Trump is often profane.

Yeah, so what! Caspar Milquetoast ain’t gonna lead a coup against the Establishment - you need a wrecking ball, a Hell-On-Wheels hard-charger, a LEADER.

Trump is all of those things...and may G-d bless him and grant him the wisdom and fortitude to win and implement good policies for this nation.

OH, so you are fine with him being owned by the banks and PAC’s? You are fine with his law firm, which he was an owner in donating to democrats but demonizing Trump for that. I have been following Trump since his book The Art of the Deal...he is a great patriot, very honest man, and very compassionate man.

“.The problem I see is the Uniparty Congress fighting his every move...
if this happens, I think Trump will, instead of laying down like a professional politician, stand up and let the American people know exactly who is stopping the actions that would help ALL Americans...”

Reagan did that - went over Congress’ heads to The People...who then shut down the Congressional phone lines, forcing Congress to give Reagan much of what he wanted. Trump WILL do the same.

“he’s done everything he said he would do. I have no issue.”

Can you list his victories? And, you are fine with his lying then? And, with him being owned by banks, Pacs, etc.?

“Can you list his victories?”

You can thank Cruz for leading the fight that killed the Gang of Eight amnesty bill in the House. I was here when FR was thanking him for that too. I could go on with other successes he’s had, but you don’t care.

That is correct. That would work now too. If Senators and representatives think that their jobs are on the line...somehow they find a way to vote accordingly.

That happened time and again with Reagan. with the huge landslides he won on, even with a large Democratic majority, it is amazing how much he got done because he knew how to use the Bully Pulpit, and he knew that tens of millions of Americans would support him if he used it properly.

“My whole point here is to try and let people know that if Ted does not make it, Trump is going to be who I support against Hillary or sanders. I think the inverse should also apply.”

I am in 100% agreement.

I was a Cruz supporter, even giving him money when he declared. I don’t dislike his policies, in fact I like them better than Trump’s in many cases...but I think that Cruz would get smeared in a race with Hitlery. Trump is about 70% of what I want, and is (IMHO) electable. I believe that it would be a “shocking” (to the MSM and conventional political pundits) landslide for Trump in November.

My first vote for President was for Reagan in the 1980 primaries and General. The mood now, and the attitude of the entire political world toward Trump, are virtually identical to those things in 1980. Take a 2016 story, and substitute in Reagan’s name for Trump’s, and you have the 1980 story. The only new thing is having GOPe people saying that they’ll vote for the Dems.
