I'm finished with the Republican Party... Are you? (vanity)
5 April, 2016 | Me

Posted on 04/05/2016 6:39:49 PM PDT by Magnatron

I've only recently become a Trump supporter. I was leaning toward Cruz, but couldn't go with him when he decided to collude with the GOPe, fully knowing (I have to imagine) that there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell they would pick him in a contested convention. It's obvious that the GOP has decided to self destruct. Their disregard for conservatives and their complete disdain for the middle and working class has turned my stomach.

I've turned in my membership. I'm finished for good with the Republican Party. I've decided to go Independant from this point forward, and I've gotten to,wondering...

...how many folks here have moved out too?

The RNC and the Cruze people are celebrating tonight but the results of their backstabbing campaign against Trump will ensure that Hilliary Clinton will defeat them and bring on untold disasters for the United States and the West.

In a few years, analysts will review the 2016 campaign and record, for posterity, that the Republican party committed nationwide Hiri-Kiri in it's attempt to silence Trump.

People will be amazed at the sheer stupidity of a party that could have, should have, would have saved the United States of America from absolute decline and oblivion...

I re-registered from Republican to Unaffiliated about a year ago. At the time it was mainly because 1) Colorado does not have meaningful primaries (just a caucus system which has become a national laughing stock), 2) both the state and local Republican Party officers were totally committed to this corrupt system, 3) an embarrassing percentage of the Republican candidates who get elected end up in scandals of their own making and 4) the local party divorced itself from the local "liberty groups" for reasons that are still not clear. The recent disasters with respect to the GOPe just give me more reasons to stay out.

Negating the popular vote for a candidate. Parties are democracies. The government is not and should not be. Putting power in idiots like your hands has resulted in this huge shit sandwich the American people are being forced to swallow. You are tin pot banana republic jackwagons. You should be tarred ad feathered and run out of town on a rail.

So, it’s TED CRUZ that’s making the Donor Class/Oligarchs/Ruling Class dance for their money and not the other way around.

America, a nation of suckers evidently.

"Cruz has always been GOPe I have been saying that before Iowa

You couldn't have it more backwards, and I've known that since he came to town running for Senate.

Trump might win a 3-way race with GOPe candidate and Hillary.

Even with the sore-loser laws in some states preventing a 3rd party run? I know Texas is one, and Cruz wins that one anyway. There must be other sore-loser states as well.

GOPe is bowing to Cruz, not the other way around.

They know Cruz doesn't stand a chance against Hillary, and that's all they care about. Granted, he may not agree to throw the election to her like team players Jeb or Kasich, but he'll still lose despite trying. That is enough for them so they'll back him.

He has no charisma, will be made out to be a crazy Jesus freak, and when the MSM turns on him (the second he becomes nominee) he'll wither under the pressure and turn into a whimpering pile of Jello.

Maybe you should supplement your diet. It has left you mentally feeble. Corn lacks a couple of the essential amino acids, and apparently it has led to brain damaged. I swear I have yet to find a smart Cruz supporter. Wisconsin is a perfect example. Feeble minded bunch. Make me think of Jim Jones’s crew.

IF - as many of us suspect, Cruz is being used by the Establishment to stop Trump... AND THEN Cruz is dumped in favor of Ryan or Jeb.. How will YOU then toward the GOPe?

Trump’s supporters can’t seem to get it through their heads that their are many more Republicans that are not GOPe that have not voted for Trump. You can insult me all you like, but that fact doesn’t change. I want the nominee that is chosen by the majority of Republicans to be elected as the Republican nominee.

I am gone from the rip off republican party. I met Reagan back in 1980 when I was in high school,,,what an inspiration. He did not cheat or lie or take away delegates to win. I am embarrassed I voted twice for Cruz in my district to get him into the senate....I am so sorry...please forgive me....I blindly trusted the tea party to do the vetting. That will never happen again. I and my husband and brothers and sisters and grown children will never vote for ted cruz. I can not believe that so called conservatives would vote for another politician. Man, there are some gluttons for punishment around here. BTW....Hillary and Obamas court appointees will have ineligible Ted Cruz thrown out of the race in 2 seconds...remember...Obama has a birth certificate all be it fake...but he has one.

Honestly, before this election season I had no idea how corrupt the GOP was and is. Go for it, Support Cruz. Herr Reince will not allow him to be the nominee. I can see how the term useful idiots came about. You are a perfect example. An ideologue. No introspection as to why. Led around by the ring in your nose. A feisty heifer who snorts at other bovines because they are encroaching on her stall. (There are fields my dear heifer)

Essentially a dangerous ignoramus.

“If Trump or Cruz ends up with the nomination, I can enter a voting both. If the GOPe brings in a deux de machina candidate, that will be a real problem for me.”

Yup; me, too. It is sad that so many on this thread have come right out and said they will vote for Hillary if Trump is not the nominee. Madness.

Trump or Cruz...either is fine with me.

Then you can join the Reform party on your way to Democrat.

Might as well follow your leader.
