North American Law Center to Cruz: ‘Two Weeks to Admit You’re a Fraud – or We Will’

“In 2 weeks the North American Law Center will release proof that Ted Cruz is a fraud. They have issued his campaign a warning that if Cruz doesn’t tell the truth and step down they will release their proof – the truth that so many refused to believe or listen to.” – Karen Bracken

The North American Law Center issued this stark notice to the Cruz campaign on their latest podcast on April 3 (19:00 mark) –

“We’re talking about American citizens (who) think a guy who’s Canadian-born is eligible to be a U.S. president – without any documentation whatsoever. If Ted continues on – we are going to release the files we have, two weeks from tonight, and we will bury Ted Cruz forever in American politics… If we have to stop this guy from defrauding this nation, then we are going to do that.” – J.B. Williams, N.A.L.C.

So it was common knowlege then that a president had to have 2 US citizen parents as well as be born on US soil.

And that's the way it should be !!

Who is the North American Law Center? The story is idiot bait. The circumstances of Ted Cruz’s birth are not in dispute. The meaning of “natural born citizen” has been debated to death. You can choose whichever side of the issue you want, but the idea that someone is going to release a bombshell is nonsense, unless you believe that the North American Law Center has unearthed a previously unknown provision in the constitution, overlooked until now.

-- Nonetheless the law makes it a legitimate substitute for the crba. --

I agree with that, for purposes of citizenship. My only point was that a passport doesn't differentiate between naturalized and not-naturalized citizens.

The timeline Cruz is claiming also doesn't add up.
The two time points below are readily corroborated on the internet. If the family moved back in 1974 and Rafael Cruz worked in Canada for 8 years, they were in Canada by 1966, four years before Cruz was born. Canada was accelerating refugee citizenship for Cubans at that time.

“I worked in Canada for eight years,” Rafael Cruz says. “And while I was in Canada, I became a Canadian citizen.”

1974 - The Cruz family moves to the United States when Ted is approximately four years old. Rafael Cruz has publicly stated that he remained a citizen of Canada until he renounced his Canadian citizenship when he applied for and became a US Naturalized citizen in 2005. As a result, his wife and son were also Canadian citizens, his son being born a citizen of Canada in 1970.

The official timeline is also incorrect on the subject of Cruz's Mom's first marriage.

Dallas News Cruz Family Drama

Contrary to Ted Cruz's official statement, Ms Cruz married in 1956 moved to London, divorced in 1963 and had a child in London in 1966 (UK citizen); that child died of a crib death in the same year. According to the same source Eleanor Wilson left England sometime after the death of Michael and returned to the United States, where she met Rafael Cruz, whom she married in 1969. That is in direct conflict with the 8 year stay in Canada Raphael Sr has stated.

What is being hidden, why these conflicting tales?

Cruz is a young man, he needs to get this cleared up in the courts, if he ever wants to run for President again.

In Pennsylvania Senior Judge Dan Pellegrini has ruled that Ted Cruz may appear on the Pennsylvania ballot this coming April 26.
Judge Pellegrini wrote:
“Having extensively reviewed all the articles cited in this opinion, as well as many others, this Court holds, consistent with the common law precedent and statutory history, that a “natural born citizen” includes any person who is a United States citizen from birth.”

His argument that the definition of natural born citizen is justiciable (capable of being adjudicated in a court of law) is based on a U.S. Supreme Court decision that a natural born citizen cannot be denaturalized.

Cruz eligibility challenger Carmon Elliott appealed to the State’s Supreme Court. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court affirmed Judge Pellegrini’s ruling.

Jugears had a birth certificate... fake but accurate. Ted has none.

Oh he has one, but it makes him a Canadian. The CRBA would make him a naturalized US citizen...but not a NBC.

“Cruz is a young man, he needs to get this cleared up in the courts, if he ever wants to run for President again.”

Age will not change his birth status, his divided loyalties at birth or his natural born status (lack thereof)

Of course I hope you are not arguing that it would be a good idea to let the courts change what the founders clearly meant and clearly understood.

I believe that Cruz’ mother lived in Canada at least 4 years before Cruz was born, and his father was already a naturalized citizen of Canada. Cruz’ parents were both listed as voters in Canada, so it is possible his mother may be a Canadian citizen as well. In any case, since Cruz was born in Canada, his mother did need to do the necessary paperwork with the US consul so Cruz would be given naturalized citizenship. Cruz is, at best, a naturalized citizen, at worst, he is not a citizen at all.

“A natural born citizen is a child born of TWO citizen parents on U.S. soil or military base (overseas)”

Close but no cigar. Let me fix it for you:

A natural born citizen is a child born of TWO citizen parents on U.S. soil.

As I have said in the past on numerous occasions. To be an NBC, without question, for absolute certainty, is to be born of 2 citizen parents in one of the lower 48 states.

Alaska & Hawaii are too new as states that someone could be old enough to have been born there when they were territories. Territories and possessions have different citizenship applications and applicable laws that “MAY” be a problem as to natural born citizen status.

Being born overseas on a military base or embassy makes no difference. Natural born MUST be born in the country, on US SOIL. (an embassy or military base ARE NOT US SOIL!)

The only difference is that you would be born a NATIVE citizen not requiring to be naturalized when returning to the US. That’s IT. NOT “natural”, NATIVE.

McCain was NOT eligible. He was born in a FOREIGN country just like Cruz was. McCain was not even born on a military base. He was born in Colon hospital, Colon Panama, not even part of the Panama Canal Zone. (which doesn’t matter anyway, the Canal Zone was NOT a US territory).

All these things are VERY complicated. “Common knowledge” on this subject of citizenship and especially natural born citizen status, are ALWAYS WRONG. Without intense study nobody knows about this.

It's not my life story it's Cruz's. He should have been up front with the documents that defined when he became recognized as an American citizen. Then no one would be trying to piece the facts together and this would not seem like a lurid novel.

Most children born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent(s) acquire U.S. citizenship at birth. As soon as possible after the birth, the U.S. citizen parent(s) should contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

If the consul determines that the child has acquired U.S. citizenship, a consular officer prepares a Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America (Form FS-240). This document is recognized in the United States as proof of acquisition of U.S. citizenship, and it is acceptable evidence of citizenship for obtaining a passport, entering school, and most other purposes.

Failure to document a child promptly as a U.S. citizen may cause hardship for the parents or child later on when attempting to obtain a passport or register for school. Birth Abroad of a US Citizen

Yes you are correct the founders would be proud .... How do I know for certain?

I know because we have a record of what the founder DID. And what they did is recorded in the Naturalization Act of 1790. Because the founders, in the very first acts of congress said that those born beyond the boundaries and to citizens were as natural born as long as their fathers had resided in the US. And since Sen Cruz’s father did reside in the US, Sen Cruz was born a US citizen at birth and qualifies as an NBC from birth ... according to the founders.
