Jugears had a birth certificate... fake but accurate. Ted has none. Oh he has one, but it makes him a Canadian. The CRBA would make him a naturalized US citizen...but not a NBC.

Per USCode Title 8 Section 1401, Sen Cruz is a US citizen at birth and has never needed to be naturalized. He is a natural born citizen.
