I don’t think anything will change any delegate’s minds. By this point, everyone who is ruinning for a national spot pretty much knows what they will do. It’s just going to be interesting if it is a fair representation of the people’s vote. Personally? I don’t think that’s what will happen, but we shall see.
So,Cruz is telling fibs when he says he's getting the delegates because he has a better organization and knows the system better which indicates that "Trump couldn't run a lemonade stand".
Not only Colorado that the heavy duty game to "get the delegates to state their convictions" has been playing out.
If it's all "convictions" then Cruz wouldn't need to be telling us how he's outmaneuvering Trump at every step - he could sit on his laurels and watch all the support (where has his support base gone - polls show him flagging) come rolling in.
The GOPe sees stopping Trump as it's only chance to keep from being really messed with and Cruz is its cat's-paw colluder.
Don’t confuse your ignorance of the process with Cruz fibbing.
Cruz organized at the FRONT END of the process and ensured he’d identified his most ardent supporters, with the best name recognition, in each Congressional District, and at the State level.
That is called a “slate”.
Then, when other Cruz delegates see a Slate of vetted Cruz supporters running for National Assembly, they know their best bet is to vote for that slate.
Aside from that, of the 630 delegates running for National from the State Assembly (14 pages) only 1 page was bound to Trump, while 4 1/2 pages were bound to Cruz.

THAT is why Trump canceled his speech at State and decided to whine and lie about the process, instead.
“Do they know how many of the 1,251 delegates are Trump always supporters?”
That is NOT knowable.
Some are committed to represent on the 1st ballot, while their true feelings are uncertain.
