Lacking other means of expression I’ll bet they start writing blogs.

Because when you are subject to eating garbage and sleeping in the
gutter, blogging is the first and most obvious option. Yep. Blogging.

Ain’t socialism great? Now everyone is hungry. Except for the ruling class and those with political connections.

Most famine in the world is not caused by droughts and other natural conditions, most famines these days are caused by Totalitarian regimes.

Hungry Venezuelans Hunt Dogs, Cats, Pigeons as Food Runs Out

Drat, they put the wrong Communists in charge, ...again.

If only they'd pick the correct Communists they'd achieve that Utopia of equality they promised.

Oh well, back to the drawing board Concentration Camps.

How come Hollywood leftists like Danny Glover and Sean Penn aren’t helping the people? They were friends with Chavez.

Every college professor in the US should be forced to do a yearlong sabbatical in Venezuela.

Also: It’s reminiscent of Paris in the 1860’s where people would line up at a sewer to catch rats to eat; one person gets their rat and leaves and the line moved up.

As a result, long food lines have formed all over the country, with many people reselling their share to earn an “extra income.”

You got to know that won’t last too long.

During the 900 day siege of Leningrad, in the beginning people kept favored pets....but only for a while.

I find it very hard to believe how much the Venezuelans are willing to suffer while holding fast to an ideology that is literally killing them!

Common sense says they’d reach a point of suffering enough to throw off the evil system that has enslaved them - but this just shows how incredibly deceptive and gripping socialism and communism are.........

Soon to be manifest here........if Hitlery is put in office........electing Obama twice was borderline suicidal - but electing Hitlery will definitely be so.......still stunned that apparently half our citizens want her......that alone says we’re most likely beyond recovery........apart from divine intervention......

Government and politics[edit]
Main articles: Government of Venezuela and Politics of Venezuela
Following the fall of Marcos Pérez Jiménez in 1958, Venezuelan politics were dominated by the Third Way Christian democratic COPEI and the center-left social democratic Democratic Action (AD) parties; this two-party system was formalized by the puntofijismo arrangement. Economic crises in the 1980s and 1990s led to a political crisis which resulted in hundreds dead in the Caracazo riots of 1989, two attempted coups in 1992, and impeachment of President Carlos Andrés Pérez for corruption in 1993. A collapse in confidence in the existing parties saw the 1998 election of Hugo Chávez, who had led the first of the 1992 coup attempts, and the launch of a “Bolivarian Revolution”, beginning with a 1999 Constituent Assembly to write a new Constitution of Venezuela.

This certainly brings into question the old Heinlein maxim that claims "no society is more than two meals away from a revolution."

That, or some folks in Venezuela are eating, the chavistos and chavistas, the ones not just with guns but who also have ammo.

Then there are the cubanos, of course. The tens of thousands of Castro's troops wearing venezuelan police uniforms who are camped out down there... they have food, thanks probably to Obama and all the wonderful idiots who voted for him...twice.

Maybe those who say they are leaving the country if Mr or Ms XYZ is elected president sound consider moving Venezuela.

They could probably get a good deal on a villa.
