The National Baptist Convention is being held in Kansas City Missouri with thousands of baptist worshipers from all fifty states. Hillary Clinton was the key note speaker.
The convention organizers anticipated considerable -and enthusiastic- attendance, amid a predominantly black audience. The first day of the convention almost every seat was full –SEE HERE– There was no reason to anticipate the convention attendees would not show up for Hillary Clinton.
The Kansas City Convention Center was set up in the same manner as the prior days general sessions where almost every seat was full.
Then this happened:

There is a difference between telling some pollster that, yeah, I'm voting for Hillary; AND, said person actually registering and then showing up to vote. This woman has NO enthusiasm for her. She has a 'D' after her name; and, for some folks, that is enough. But, I don't think she has any enthusiasm going in her supporters which would make them get out and vote for her.
Trump, OTOH, seems to have a whole lotta enthusiasm for his candidacy.
Also, FWIW, I was watching Varney this morning and he was interviewing a Black man who really liked what Trump was saying about a voucher system for poor Blacks and Hispanics to get out of their failing schools. He really liked that, and supported it because education was the first step for getting out of the poverty cycle.
So, Varney asks him if he is voting for Trump; and, he says "No". Varney was shocked, and then the guy explains that the "messenger" is important. So, so much for the kids he, supposedly cares about and wants a better education for. If Trump is the one to do that for them; well, he just will throw the kids back into their dismal environment because, I dunno, he believes all the nasty lies about Trump? It was amazing to listen to.
If someone told me she was next door, and I could go right in and get a front row seat, I wouldn’t go. So, here are people not having to wait, and they don’t go to see her? This has been the case with her since she ran the last time. The polls are stupid. The polls in no way reflect reality.
Trump is going to win in the biggest landslide of all time.
Too bad 'the press' is "in on" liberal elite scams... the MSM never catches the fake (AstroTurf) protests - or the stacked decks - or the lies... or the people hired to attend... They don't even catch the fake letters written to their editors...

These are low level union workers given ‘the rest of the day off’ in exchange for attending. That’s why they’re wearing white.. it’s a work uniform. (I was a democrat most of my life... I know the tricks.)
You know, people just turn off their minds for the dumbest of reasons.

I wonder if he said he wasn’t voting for Trump just to avoid the inevitable hassling he figured he’d get if he went on record saying he would. If he lived in CA, he’d certainly be consigned to Uncle Tom status immediately. (Scott Adams, for example, has turned of comments on his blog and officially endorsed Hillary for his own safety because he lives in CA and knows the viciousness of liberals scorned.)
It also makes one wonder if a lot of minorities are not being truthful when the pollsters call. For that matter, imagine a liberal pollster calling a black household and getting “Trump” for a response. I could see the pollster (a liberal, by assumption) either making a disparaging comment to the respondent, or writing down Clinton anyway, or both. In any case, I suspect a lot of minorities considering Trump’s outreach, and especially blacks, are withholding that information from pollsters.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if Trump, the supposed racist, turns out to be the GOP candidate who finally breaks the Dem hold on the black vote? Given that turnout at the Baptist Convention, I think it’s a lot more likely than people believe possible, as long as he continues to make his case for vouchers, charter schools, better (and more) policing, and jobs.
Remove the Gospel Choir, Staff Members, Media People, and a few stragglers and what do you have?
A very sad and small group of people, who would rather be elsewhere. However, their parole officers told them, they had to come.
