Subject: how we just changed an entire Governor's race in 48 hours--without any fingerprints

Dear Investors & Key Advisors,

Wanted to send you a quick update...

As you may have heard with the hard work of the folks at ProgressNow Colorado as part of Colorado¹s ³communication hub² they dug up weeks ago and carefully passed on information to the mainstream media on how the leading GOP candidate for Governor, former Congressman Scott McInnis plagiarized a report he provided on water policy for a foundation in Colorado.

In the past 48 hours, McInnis and the entire Republican party of Colorado are in free-fall. There are now calls even within the Republican party for McInnis to withdraw.

The best part is that ProgressNow Colorado nor any of our allies had their fingerprints on any of the excellent behind-the-scenes work to develop and then break this story. This has led to three straight days of front page Denver Post coverage as well as the editorial below and statewide media, a share of which is linked to below.

If you want to discuss how PN can be of further help to you in other states, please let me know a good time and number to reach you.

A bit of information on how Colorado got stuck with John Hickenlooper.

In the bizarre series of events that followed this, McInnis basically pleaded guilty to the plagiarism, but was later exhonerated. By then, Hickenlooper was in.

Seems about right. When Democrats do things like this, the party seems to back them even more. When Republicans do it, they bend over, take it up the rear, and either beg for forgiveness or quit.

I’m tired of this nonsense.

Note the similarity to the GOP being in “free fall” today.

If this guy was this weak, he deserved to loose. Just when are we going to get dozens of Donald Trumps to run for office. Virtually none of our candidates have any fortitude.

It worked for Obama in his Illinois career, so why not run the same scam in other races?

Somewhere I read that “we are where we are today because people like this are allowed to die peacefully of old age, at home surrounded by friends and family”, or something to that effect.

I wonder how long this kind of crap would continue if the people behind ProgressNow were “visited” some night and admonished for their participation in such seditious actions (the visitors being careful about fingerprints, of course).

It's the same except on a smaller scale. I wonder how many Republicans in Colorado they got to go along with it.

Just when are we going to get dozens of Donald Trumps to run for office.

The problem is where to find dozens of billionaires who can self-fund their campaigns, are geniuses at strategy & persuasion, and can withstand withering fire from all political parties (including their own) and nearly all the media (including most of the "conservatives").

Re: It worked for Obama in his Illinois career

Obama benefitted from the Jack Ryan debacle in 2004. But Obama and the Dems did not cause it.

Republican consultant, Rod, who told me he only did things when he was paid to do them was hired by the Hastert-LaHood-Shimkus-Davis-Kjellander corruption wing of the ILGOP to spread the dirt on Jack Ryan.

Prior to that, in 2002 at a fundraiser, I told Jack Ryan that I had heard rumors about his personal life. I said I did not know if they were true or not. But regardless of whether they were true or false, he should take James Carville’s advice to come out with it himself.

If he came out with it himself, he could choose to whom to leak it to.. gossip columnist or political type.. friend or enemy. He could choose the timing, slow news day where it would lead..or busy news day where it would be buried inside.

By coming out with it early, it would be old news when he announced and really old news when people started paying attention to the campaign.

If the scandal really was bad and would sink his candidacy, it would be better to know that before and not after he had spent 5 million of his own money on the campaign.

So what was the scandal?

He did not have kinky sex with his sex goddess wife. That was the essence of the scandal that caused a good man with no spine to drop out and anoint Obama.

It is never the politician that suffers but the people.
