From the moment he joined, 8-year-old Joe Maldonado eagerly looked forward to camping trips and science projects as a member of the Cub Scouts. But his expectations were dashed after his mother said she received a phone call from a scouting official who told her that Joe would no longer be allowed to participate because he was born a girl.
Kristie Maldonado said she was stunned because her son had been a member of Cub Scout Pack 87 in Secaucus for about a month, and his transgender status had not been a secret. But some parents complained, an official from the Northern New Jersey Council Boy Scout told her – even though her son had been living as a boy for more than a year and was accepted as a boy at school, she said

Our Cub Scout Pack has several little sisters hanging around ... Kathleen, Alexis, Elizabeth. They all have older brothers in the Pack, so they can go on the campouts anyway, but they’re at loose ends during Den meetings.
We’re half-seriously considering registering them as boys so they can work the program in the Dens of their age, and seeing what falls out.
Every family I know that has done BSA and GSUSA wishes they could put the girls through the BSA program. When I’m getting the Wolf Den organized, I always say, “Alexis and Elizabeth can come, too!” (Kathleen is only 4.)

I expect to see my first “Transgender Only” bathroom in 2017.
While everyone complained about the absent fathers, I always wondered about the mothers. Certain women should not have children, period.

“gender fluid child”? Parents are suppose to set boundaries and examples for children. They are suppose to make their child feel good about themselves as the sex the child was born, not letting their child wander in the wilderness without a guide, or tossing them off a cliff of ignorance that allows the child to be injured both mentally and physically by the parents delusions of the grander.
We experienced this for real. my hubby’s ex shrew alienated his children from us and then insisted that the daughter play football on the boys team well into the seventh grade. She also would paint his son’s fingernails pink just to aggravate my hubby.
She’s a liberal child protective worker and gets massive child support from us for the past 12 years. She ladles the children full of ADHD meds and antidepressants, yet allows them to do anything they want with no discipline and to fail academically.
Absolutely nothing we can do as we live in the liberal state of New York where the mom has all the rights and just takes the dad’s wallet.

No way to stop this. not even in divorce is a man safe to be able to guide his own children. Start talking to a few divorced men and they will tell you. The mom has 100% of the rights. Watch the movie Divorce Incorporated.
I can’t stand this anymore. The Boy Scouts are dead to me because of their stance on this, now the Cub Scouts.
Damn all these people to Hell. Messing with kid’s brains like this. The kid is just a kid, and she doesn’t know any better. This is the job of parents to guide kids.
Instead, they doom her to a totally screwed up life. When this poor kid hits the skids later in life, none of these a-holes who “fought” for the right of a little kid to decide this kind of thing will be around.

Exactly. This is so tragic, and this kid has a rough road ahead, paved by her mother. It is shameful.
