Mark Levin: Time Patriots Stand Our Ground In Defense Of Donald Trump
Rick Wells ^ | 01/12/17 | Rick Wells

Posted on 01/12/2017 7:39:25 AM PST by Enlightened1

Mark Levin wants to once and for all put the difficult election behind the American patriots, be they Republican or of other persuasions, avid Trump supporters or reluctant, whole-hearted or less so. He says, “It is time. It is time that we stand our ground in defending Donald Trump’s legitimacy and the fact that he is the President-elect and to become the president.”

Levin, who it’s better to have arriving late to the party than out driving around lost in the wrong neighborhood, says, “Because I’m telling you right now and I’ve told you before, the media, the Praetorian Guard media, the Democrat Party, which puts party before country, academia and Hollywood, are seeking a coup of sorts. That’s exactly what they’re doing.”

He continues, “Standing up for Donald Trump in this regard. Not for every issue, not for every nominee, but standing up for Donald Trump is standing up for our Constitution, for the legitimacy of the election. We cannot allow the left and by the left I include the media, we cannot allow the left to decide who’s legitimate and who is not. And keep something in mind – they hate us too.”

Levin points out, “There would be no Jeff Sessions nomination if Hillary Clinton were the President-elect. There’d be no repeal of Obamacare, even an attempted repeal of Obamacare if Hillary Clinton had been elected. And I can go on down the line.”

“What they seek to do,” says Levin, “and they’ve done it even before the man is inaugurated, is to drive issues of controversy. I don’t mean controversy about specific matters, but the fact that he’s president, they want it to be controversial.

Rush is another sell-out that needs to be held accountable.

Not possible. Has he yet apologized to Texas for lying about citizenship? Has he apologized for lying about health insurance? Has he apologized for lying about campaign funds? Has he explained $500K payment to girlfriend Fiorina? Has he apologized for his 500% increase in H1B and his acceptance of amnesty? Has he explained the turnabout on Natural Born Citizen requirement to be president, which he previously said he did not have? So many lies. Besides, everything he touches ends in failure, he is universally hated except by a few fanatics. And he repeated stabbed President-elect Trump in the back, poked him in the eye, etc. No respect, not once. He is Lyn’ Ted and no way to tell when he is not lying. Good riddance to him, Levin, Beck, Fiorina, and the rest. We do not need them, not one of them.

Mark Levin has been sounding the same tocsin of alarm and he has illustrated his warnings with anecdotes from his own participation in the Reagan administration. His conservative bona fides extend that far back and they are genuine because they are moments of real action. The last one I remember is his recounting the story of finding Saul Alinsky's books being distributed by the Carter administration at our cost.

No one has been more explicit or more effective in attacking the establishment of the Republican Party than Mark Levin. In hour after hour he has identified by name those in the party among those who are elected and those in the media who fought against the nomination and election of Ronald Reagan. Mark Levin's personal credentials as a foot soldier in the Reagan campaign and later in the Reagan administration are indisputable. Mark Levin more than any other public figure in my judgment has drawn the indictment against the GOPe.

Mark Levin is not the problem, he is part of the solution, why in God's name do we shoot the messenger?

He has been loud and long in his criticism of the house leadership and loud and long in support of the insurgents including Dave Brat. He has recounted time and again the opposition by the Rino Republicans to Ronald Reagan. No one has been more emphatic than Mark Levin in describing the breakdown of conservatism over the years and the Republican Party. It is not just his criticism but as activism and commitment through his career and through Landmark Legal over decades which lends him credibility.

More, he has written influential books espousing true conservatism and has even advanced a very influential argument on behalf of Article V which is an attempt to cure the problems seen in Washington where Rino Republicans fail to counter leftist Democrats from outside the power center in Washington. Whether or not you approve or disapprove of a convention of the states, it is undeniable that Mark Levin has seen the problem and has advanced a solution.

It is hard to identify anyone in the pantheon of conservatives who are publicly known who would have been more strident in their attacks on Rino Republicans and who have lent their support to insurgents in the house and who has the lent his airtime to insurgents seeking election in House and Senate.

I know of no pundit who has been more right on all the issues. He is right on trade, right on immigration, right on convention of the states, right on deficits and budgets, right on the war against terror, right on Obamacare, right on environmental tyranny, right on the meaning of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. I know of no issue on which he is "wrong."

His career demonstrates that he walks the walk as well as talks the talk. I say again, Mark Levin is not part of the problem is part of the solution.

Levin yesterday was praising Rubio for his attacks on Tillerson. I heard the first hour of Tillerson’s testimony and questions and was very impressed. Rubio was being a jerk and whining like a spoiled child when Tlllerson didn’t answer the way Little Marco wanted.

I was a faithful listener for years but no more with his over the top vicious attacks.

Rush openly endorsed Cruz by stating that he was the closest candidate to Ronald Reagan in our lifetime. He only supported Trump after his pro-illegal immigration candidate hit the skids and lost the nomination. Rush is on the list of talk show hosts that was paid by a Cruz PAC to support him, a story that the MSM chose to bury because it was a plot against Trump. Rush is now rightly being held accountable by a large segment of his audience who has no left. Rush will survive, Levin will not.

Levin sold out financially to Cruz. When he did that, he committed an unforgivable sin and proved that he cannot be trusted. He’s gone, he just doesn’t know it yet.

I agree. Levin’s heart and mind are in the right place. On some points he is absolutely correct especially with some of Trumps picks. At times he will be in the role of “the loyal opposition” and we need someone who is a solid conservative in that role.

I agree with much of what Mark Levin says but all that anti Trump stuff during the Primaries was too much. Not to mention all the screaming.

It is really a shame. I was a faithful listener but not anymore.

“Mark Levin is not the problem, he is part of the solution, why in God’s name do we shoot the messenger?”

Because he didn’t do much to help Trump get elected.

Levin is loser that has repeated backed losers. He is no better than Beck and Lyn’ Ted. The sooner he is sacked and retired the better. Long winded defenses of him will not help. Are you paid to do so? Is he your secret boyfriend? Are you Levin in disguise? You and others are so incredibly intent on defending Levin and Lyn’ Ted, a bit if disclosure might be helpful.

That same quality that attracts me to Trump turn other on the right off....just like some of us like and feel at home in a dive biker bars and some of us don't..

I don’t think there’s an antidote for someone who has imbibed THAT much Kool-Aid. Not sure why you’re the only one here who can’t see that Levin is and always has been a fraud through and through.

Just a heads up - if you adhere to Levin you are going to be increasingly uncomfortable in this environment.

Ted chose not to support saving the nation last year.

Nobody but his little but hurt groupies will back him now.

He talks a great game, then turns into a snow flake when the battle comes.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

When you support sell-out turncoats, expect to have your motives questioned. You created your own problem, chief.

I have been trying to do that too. The big butt is that my trustometer stops me from actually believing stuff like this.

Is this fake news?

One of the things I appreciate most about the internet is the lack of personal relationships with people like Levin. There’s nothing to fog up the discussion. I can judge what he said on its merits, and not on what the man said or did last summer. No need to “consider the source,” which is like the flip side of an ad hominem.
